Casa do Mirador offers excellent, comfortable accommodation to eight guests wanting to stay very close to Albufeira and all of its amazing attractions. The villa is situated in a green, leafy, residential area on the top of a hill, a short drive from one of Albufeira’s lovely sandy bays. It is easy or guests to head to the wonderful, atmospheric, cobbled Old Town and the party bars and nightclubs of Albufeira’s New Town and the famous ‘Strip’.  Casa do Mirador is extremely light and airy. Great care has been taken to make the villa comfortable and homely. Each of the four bedrooms boasts a colourful feature wall giving it a warm and cosy ambience. The rooms are all spacious and consist of two twin bedrooms and two with double beds. There are two en-suite bathrooms and two further separate bathrooms. All are fully tiled and well maintained. Two of the bedrooms have access to a balcony with lovely views.  The living and dining room is open-plan with access to the terrace and swimming pool. The living space is comfortable and features a fireplace. The kitchen is traditional with a small breakfast table. There is an excellent basement games room with a pool table and table football. Teenagers especially will love this area! Outside, there is a rear raised terrace with steps leading to the main terrace and a lovely 7m x 4m swimming pool. There is a barbecue and an outdoor dining suite for delightful alfresco dining.  There are restaurants and shops within a short drive of the villa, making it a great base after busy days on the beach and discovering the local attractions. There are over 100 restaurants and bars in Albufeira’s atmospheric Old Town together with boutique shopping and local handicrafts. Jardim Publico de Albufeira, is the heart of the Old Town boasting open-air restaurants, cafes and bars and excellent people-watching. The nightlife continues late into the night in Albufeira, especially around the hedonistic New Town ‘Strip’ above the beautiful Praia da Oura. Albufeira is an excellent holiday destination boasting a buzzy nightlife, beautiful promenade and cliff walks, a maze of cobbled streets in its atmospheric Old Town, world-class golf courses, water parks, zoos, high ropes adventure parks, boutique designer shopping and an ultramodern bustling marina.  This stretch of coastline boasts excellent sandy beaches, mostly backed by red cliffs, and many interesting with stunning rock formations, coves and rock pools. There are many watersport companies offering enjoyable and thrilling rides and lessons as well as boat rides, mainly from the marina.  The charming towns of Loule and Silves are wonderful places to visit. Loule is quaint with frequent wonderful folk celebrations. There are churches and a castle to enjoy. Its market hall is magnificent, looking like a Moorish palace from the outside. Walking around Silves makes you feel as though time has stopped. The town is famous for its well-preserved castle and its Arabic architecture. You will find plenty of shops selling local products and handicrafts. The castle is situated on the highest part of the town so make sure you wear comfortable shoes if you want to visit it. Both the Silves Cathedral and the Archaeological Museum are worth a stop.  You may also want to visit the ruins of the Castle of Perderne, an old Moorish castle which was constructed in the 12th century and was one of the last Moorish strongholds to fall to the Christians. At the same time, you could stop at Guia, which is famous for its delicious Piri-Piri chicken which is barbecued on charcoal and spiced with hot chilli sauce.
