It is widely known for its delectable gastronomy under the headship of Hans Neuner, Portugal’s Chef of the Year in 2009 and 2012. In total, it has ten heavenly restaurants to choose from and six enticing bars. Their sanctuary spa by Sisley is just a holiday maker’s dream and the health club second to none. There is such a range of facilities and activities – swimming, golf, tennis, watersports. One of their specialities is yoga, with events such as yoga under the full moon accompanied by the relaxing sounds of the hang drum – total bliss and relaxation! They even have their own yacht! It really is a top-class venue. Parc Apartment is deluxe and spread over two floors. The large living and dining room is spectacularly furnished and on the ground floor with an immaculate fully equipped kitchen and a lovely balcony to relax on. On the upper floor, there are two pristine bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms. The master bedroom has a very sunny south-facing balcony, just perfect for that morning cup of coffee and the second bedroom has comfy twin beds and also a sofa bed for an additional person. The marvellous private rooftop terrace boasts fantastic azure blue sea views. Nothing has been spared when designing the apartment. It is rich in every way.This gorgeous apartment, and VILA VITA PARC, is situated between Albufeira and Portimao, very close to Praia dos Bejinhos beach. The sandy cove is beautiful and surrounded by rocks. You can walk along fantastic fine sand all the way from Praia de Armacao to Praia de Gale through Praia dos Salgodas. Some of the beaches along this coast are shallow and calm, but if you love thrill-seeking, there are plenty of rolling waves close by if you want to participate in water sports. If you do not want to drive you can take a tour in a charismatic Volkswagen T2 van. What fun! Porches is a picturesque small town between Lagos and Albufeira, very well known for its beautiful pottery shops – you really should have a look but make sure you have room in your suitcase! Casa Grade is a fantastic shop and definitely on the tourist trail! Armacao de Pera, close by, is captivating. Not only can you buy a fantastic assortment of homemade goods in this quaint, typical fisherman’s village, you can also sail away on a memorable trip to see the most beautiful and unique caves. There is also a traditional fish and fruit market. Carvoeiro, a charming village, is a cluster of whitewashed building atop gold-tinged cliffs backed by gently sloping hills. It is beautiful with shops, restaurants and bars rising from the small arc of the beach. It is prettier and more laid back than a lot of the Algarve’s resorts. Guia is famous throughout Portugal for being home to Piri-Piri chicken, made even more famous around the world by the Nando’s food chain. If you are looking forward to trying some, then Guia is definitely the place to go! The land around Guia is fantastic for grape growing. The Adega do Cantor Winery is partly owned by Cliff Richard! Being a little inland from the coast, you can experience the lush greens of the Algarve.
