Located in the region of Carvoeiro, Villa Carlotte has it all. It’s walking distance to the nearest beach and just a short drive to the waterfront, shops and restaurants of Alporchinhos and Armação de Pêra. You also have two golf courses within easy reach and the popular town of Carvoeiro is only 20 minutes by car.
Sleeping up to ten guests, Villa Carlotte is surrounded by private lawned gardens, a pool and several terraces for shade-seekers and al-fresco dining. The villa itself is spacious and light. The airy entrance hall welcomes you in, and the fully-equipped kitchen leads on to the dining area, which opens to the lounge. You can also enjoy al-fresco dining in a beautiful courtyard setting. Villa Carlotte is perfectly suited to relaxing with friends and family.
The 5mx10m private heatable pool is set to one side of the villa and gardens, featuring a large patio area, pool-side barbeque and sunloungers. The lawns can be accessed directly from the villa and mature palms offer welcome shady spots for morning coffee or an aperitif.
Four of the five bedrooms are located on the ground floor, including one twin room, one double room with patio doors leading to the pool terrace, one twin room with ensuite bathroom and one double room with ensuite bathroom. The ground floor also features a further bathroom and laundry room. The first floor comprises one large master bedroom with twin beds, ensuite bathroom and tantalising views of the sea.
Beyond Villa Carlotte, dramatic coastal cliffs, golden sands and the Atlantic ocean await. You can walk to Praia da Senhora or travel a little further by car and take your pick of Algarve’s world-famous beaches. This area is also a great place to try watersports, boat trips or make a splash at the water parks.
If you’re planning a group holiday to the Algarve, Villa Carlotte is a fabulous choice. Use it as a base for sightseeing or playing golf, relaxing on nearby beaches or simply laze by the pool.This stretch of the Algarve has developed into one of Europe’s most popular holiday destinations, for so many reasons. There’s an abundance of quality villas, hotels, restaurants and bars in the string of coastline resorts from Praia da Rocha to Armação de Pêra. Not to mention the charming, whitewashed villages nestled in-between. Alporchinhos centre is just 1km away.  The world-famous beaches and sea-carved sandstone cliffs along the coast are a dramatic sight, set against the improbably blue Portugese sky and turquoise waters of the ocean. From the villa, it’s just 0.8km to Praia da Senhora.
For the best views of the coast, harbour trips and tours of ancient caves; head for Portimão harbour. Here, and at Carvoeiro, you’ll find a huge choice of watersports such as scuba diving, snorkelling, fishing and windsurfing. Other sporting facilities include tennis clubs, the family favourite that is Zoomarine water park (16km) and of course; the wonderful golf clubs that make Algarve a Mecca for golfers. The two 18-hole courses nearest to Villa Carlotte are Pestana’s Gremacho (7km) and Vale de Pinta.
Nature lovers can travel inland and take on the walking or climbing challenges in the Monchique mountains, with the highest summit standing at 900m. For more sedate pastimes, birdwatchers flock here to catch sight of the 250 bird species found in the Algarve year-round. And amazingly, dolphin and whale watching trips can be booked from most coastal resorts.
There seems no end to the list of reasons for visiting the Carvoeiro region. Presumably, that’s why holidaymakers return year after year.
