Newly built, when you arrive at this stunning villa it feels as though you are the first person to open the front door! Villa Corvei sits atop a cliff, near to the charming fisherman’s village of Carvoeiro with truly spectacular, uninterrupted sea views across the Atlantic Ocean.
The approach to the villa is through two large entrance gates, that elegantly open onto a sweeping driveway that guides you through the fully enclosed garden, bordered by mature palm trees and ancient olive trees, all the way to the villa’s front door. The grand architecture offers an impressive entrance, with a courtyard and large wooden doors, hinting to the luxury interiors that await you.
Within the villa’s walls, the owner has carefully blended modern comforts with old Portuguese grandeur, offering a style and charm to the villa that is unique. The furnishings vary from exquisite antiques to contemporary styles, filling each room with a warm, welcoming sense, alongside that luxury feeling that makes every moment in the villa feel like a special treat!
On the ground floor, the villa boasts four spacious bedrooms, all of which enjoy en-suite bathrooms and sliding glass doors, leading into their own private garden terraces. One of the rooms also offers a separate sitting area, with an extra hydro-massage bath in the luxurious bathroom – a real treat!
The building design flows from one room to another, giving guests the chance to enjoy their own privacy, whilst also providing spaces for everyone to come together and entertain. A magnificent hall leads through into the large lounge, with elegant patio doors that flood the room with light and offer access out to the garden. A separate dining room, kitchen and a further raised TV room and library all maintain the same calm, tranquil atmosphere.
In the basement, those who enjoy a more active relaxation can make the most of the fitness room, after which a Turkish bath or a rest in the sauna will allow the last of your worries melt away! There is also a wine cellar and billiard room, the perfect hideaway after busy days exploring the area.
Out in the garden, the real magic of this villa comes to light, with views across the cliff tops that take your breath away. Whether you are enjoying an al-fresco breakfast, cooking up a storm on the barbeque, walking through the luscious gardens or cooling off in the private swimming pool before sipping your cocktail at the poolside gazebo, every inch of this space feels relaxed and luxurious – the ultimate holiday retreat!

Twenty years ago, Carvoeiro was a sleepy fishing village but had since developed into a characterful and famous tourist town. Its coastline, cliffs and coves are amongst the most beautiful in the whole of the Algarve.
Within a short walk from this property, you’ll find the shops, restaurants and bars of this much-loved resort. Most visitors give up on the idea of self-catering when they see what’s on offer!
There is a beautiful municipal undercover market open every morning except Sunday, which sells the freshest fish and meat, plus a vast variety of fresh salad, fruit and vegetables.
In the direct area there are various beautiful public beaches, we recommend visiting the dreamlike shores of the small, rocky Vale da Lapa beach, only accessible at low-tide and within a 15-minute walk of the villa. Plus, Praia de Carvoeiro, with its beautifully sheltered sandy bay, is 1km away from the villa. The cliff tops, which protect the beach, offer plenty of scope for walking and some great views.
The most beautiful golf courses, equestrian centres, tennis facilities, water parks and a wide variety of water sports can all be found in the immediate proximity. There is also the possibility of enjoying the beautiful coastline and historic caves with boat excursions from Portimao’s harbour.
You’re 20 minutes from the Algarve’s prettiest town, Silves. Here, it’s well worth taking a leisurely walk along the river, past the orange and lemon trees. Or you can wander up the hill to the cathedral and Moorish castle. Both offer up great views of the town and surrounding countryside.
Or take a seat in the central square, with its landscaped gardens. Of course, there is no need to leave Carvoeiro at all as there is plenty to see and do right on the doorstep – it is a lovely spot and well deserves its reputation as a top Algarve holiday destination.
