Villa Daiane is an impressive, elegant home within its magnificent grounds within the prestigious Quinta do Lago golfing resort, just outside Almancil on the Algarve coast.

The living spaces are airy and spacious, providing natural flow between indoor and outdoor living – very much á la Algarvean way of life. The comfortable living room is bright and infused with light, via the French windows; ideal for relaxing in the evening, with those traditional touches such as original tiled flooring and open fireplace. Thoughtfully finished with buttercup yellows and dusty blues, the villa is warm and welcoming.
With heating and air conditioning, warm rugs and curtains as well as ample outdoor dining space, Villa Daiane provides a pan-seasonal holiday home. The open plan dining space is ideal for relaxed family meals, while the kitchen is bright, modern and well-equipped.
Each bedroom suite has its touch of design flair, giving this home so much character. Retaining the traditional design feel, there are two double bedroom suites on the ground floor, each with high-quality finishes by way of crisp bed linen, soft lighting and pretty accents of colour, framed by beautiful shuttered windows. Both provide large bathrooms.
The first floor accommodates the living spaces and a further twin bedroom with bathroom – perhaps the latter is an excellent choice for children in the group. The annexe offers a fourth twin bedroom, providing both privacy and group living, making this ideal for families travelling with grandparents or a nanny/au pair, or couples holidaying in a group.
The first-floor terrace offers fragrant outdoor seating, with beautiful views across the golf course. Guests will enjoy their morning coffee and pastries reclining here, or an evening glass of wine as the sun softens.
The chic outdoor spaces make this villa truly special. Finished in the tone of the villa with touches of character, and timeless classic design; beautiful statues, abundant greenery and tropical plants – the gardens provide a refreshing, green idyll.
The outdoor shower, barbecue and pool make an outdoor living so effortless. The outside spaces offer relaxed charm, ample sun lounging opportunity, ideally set up for al fresco dining with beautiful traditional courtyard dining area.Almancil is known for its proximity to the two most exclusive resorts within the Algarve, Quinta do Lago being one of these. Quinta do Lago offers the crème de la crème of golfing havens, as well as upmarket restaurants and designer boutiques.
At just fifteen minutes from Faro airport, Villa Daiane offers an accessible get-away. The beaches close by are sublime; the closest of these is Praia da Quinta Lago, at just four and a half kilometres away. Slightly further afield yet very much worth a visit is Praia do Garrao, and Praia do Ancão, both of which offer lovely beachside restaurants with sumptuous local dishes.
For history buffs, the neighbouring village of São Lourenço is home to a beautiful church dating back to 1730; the original local blue tiles tell the tale of the local patron saint. The Centro Cultural of São Lourenço is a vibrant hub of local art exhibitions and music events.
For those who wish to venture further afield, day trips to Silves, Faro and Loulé are worth considering. Boat and coastal tours offer a leisurely pace for exploring. Loulé indoor market is worth a visit: for bustling local life, pretty squares and exciting architecture, Loulé provides a taste of traditional Algarvean life.
Venturing a little further, Albufeira is worth a day trip. Albufeira is the liveliest and busiest town on Portugal’s beautiful southern Algarve coastline. Previously a modest fishing village, it is now a well known coastal town brimming with holiday potential.
 Traditional charm by way of original Moorish flair, the ‘Old Town’ offers a little taste of historical and sleepy small-town authenticity. A stone’s throw from the quiet white-washed streets you will find the dynamic and edgy “Strip” for a buzzing nightlife experience.
