Villa Evaristo sits in a beautiful garden, 1.3km from one of the beautiful sandy beaches of Gale, west of Albufeira. Visitors to Gale enjoy its fabulous beaches, stretching all the way from Armacao de Pera for miles towards Albufeira. They include the small Praia do Manuel Lourenco, Praia da Gale Oeste and Praia da Gale Leste. Visitors can enjoy horseback riding on the beach or carriage rides pulled by a horse to discover the resort. Golf fans enjoy the excellent Salgados golf course with its excellent water challenges. Guests wanting to party can head into Albufiera with its enormous choice of late night cocktail bars, clubs and restaurants.
Though the interior of Villa Evaristo is elegant and beautifully finished, guests staying here will want to enjoy the beautiful, private outside spaces most of the time. Colourful bougainvillea lifts your heart and makes you smile. This villa is very smart. It is very easy to relax here. The villa is built in a very sunny position where you can enjoy the peace, privacy and the fabulous sunshine. Though the villa is for 6 guests, the space, inside and out, is incredible. The grounds of the villa include several lush lawns, beautifully planted borders, a fantastic swimming pool, a pool terrace furnished for alfresco lounging and dining, an excellent built-in barbecue and sheltered space for table tennis. There are plenty of quality loungers around the pool and several seating areas where you can enjoy your morning cup of coffee or pre-dinner drinks, maybe even a game of cards. It will be very tempting to just stay put at the villa on several days, even though the delights of the Algarve await.
Villa Evaristo is built is quite an unusual shape so some of the rooms are beautifully fitted into unique spaces. This includes the dining room which is absolutely charming with its terracotta shades, natural light on both sides and double doors to the terrace. The kitchen is impressive with a serious amount of cupboards and worksurface. It is bright, modern and spacious, a delight for the chef in your group. The living room is enormous and enjoys sumptuous sofas, cable television and a continuation of the terracotta and white colour scheme.
One of the double bedrooms is downstairs, a cheery room with direct access to the pool terrace. It has use of a smart, fully-tiled bathroom with a bath with a shower over it. Upstairs, you will discover the other two bedrooms, again spacious doubles with their own immaculate bathrooms. Both bedrooms enjoy access to the beautiful terrace that wraps around the villa giving lovely views of Gale.
Villa Evaristo is a real delight, perfect for families or groups of friends wanting to relax and enjoy all that the Algarve has to offer. Gale is a pretty, tranquil area to the west of Albufeira. It boasts gorgeous sandy beaches, a renowned golf course, a surf school, tennis, riding stables and many attractions on the doorstep. Villa Evaristo enjoys a lovely peaceful location where you have plenty of space. Within 300m you will find a restaurant and just over 1km away, you will find a large supermarket and the beach.
Villa Evaristo is within easy reach of many world-class golf courses and interesting, historic towns and villages such as Silves, Faro and Loule. The peaceful, picturesque town of Silves was originally the ancient capital of the Algarve. With its imposing red brick castle, Gothic cathedral, ancient town walls, open-air cafes and restaurants and the daily market, Silves is very attractive.
Just to the east of Gale, you will find the buzzy, entertainment capital of the Algarve, Albufeira. There are over 100 restaurants and bars in Albufeira’s Old Town as well as excellent boutiques and local handicrafts. The main square, Jardim Publico de Albufeira, is the heart of the Old Town with open-air restaurants, cafes and bars and often live music. The huge Albufeira Shopping Mall has many boutiques as well as a massive supermarket. The nightlife continues late into the night in Albufeira, especially around the hedonistic ‘Strip’ which is in the New Town. The promenade, lined with vibrant bars and cafes, is perfect for a stroll and provides enchanting views of the bay. The winding lanes of the old fisherman’s quarters lead to Tunel and Peneco Beaches where brightly painted fishing boats rest on the sand after their day’s work.  
Another delight close to Villa Evaristo is the beautiful, historic town of Loule. It enjoys a magnificent market hall that looks like a Moorish palace from the outside, many beautiful churches and castle ruins. The church Nossa Senhora da Piedade stands proud on the hill, a modern dome shaped building. Loule’s main church, Igreja de S Clemente stands in the middle of a small square close to the peaceful garden, Jardim dos Amuados which is an ancient Arab cemetery. The ruins of its 13th century Loule castle are close to the Convent of Espirito Santo which is also an art gallery. Loule is famous for its Saturday morning market and its Arabian style daily market. The town’s warren of narrow cobbled alleys is brimming with cafes and shops.
You are spoilt for choice with beach days at Villa Evaristo. The Gale beaches are seriously impressive plus you can easily visit Salgados, Castelo, Sao Rafeal, Arrifes, Oura, Santa Eulalia, Maria Luisa, Olhos de Agua and the famous Falesia Beach. Most of the beaches boast fine, silver sand and multi-hued stunning cliffs or dunes and pine forests. They offer huge expanses of sand, an outstanding choice of watersports and excellent, bustling beach bars and cafes.
