Tucked away in a quiet residential area is the beautiful Villa Milho, a traditional Portuguese villa in the heart of the Algarve.
On arrival, Villa Milho has a large exterior which hints at the ample space inside for you and your fellow guests. You’ll access the villa via a private security gate which only your party have access to, and you can park your cars securely on the driveway.
Inside, Villa Milho is decorated in a simple homely manner making it easy to get settled in and relaxed. Your interior communal space consists of a combination living room diner with two large sofas, an armchair, a TV and a family dining table. Through an open archway, your fully-equipped kitchen is yours to use however you like throughout your stay. For alfresco dining, you’ll find a second dining table along with a picnic-style table and a barbecue out on the terrace.
Villa Milho has five comfortable bedrooms, split across two levels with each room decorated simply and featuring either two twin beds or a double bed. Cot beds can be placed in some rooms to accommodate additional guests if needed. While staying at Villa Milho, all guests share bathroom facilities, with one bathroom on each level for convenience.
Throughout the property, you’ll find that Villa Milho is a lovely cosy home, perfect for groups to use as their home away from home while making lifelong memories.
Outside, you have use of a private swimming pool throughout your stay. The swimming pool has a sloped base, adding depth as you move along the length of the pool, making it suitable for swimmers of all levels. Less confident swimmers can keep comfortable in the shallow side, while stronger swimmers can jump and swim around in the deeper waters. Besides the swimming pool is a small outdoor shower so that you can rinse off before and after entering the pool.Villa Milho is located on a quiet residential estate on the outskirts of Carvoeiro. Surrounding the villa are leafy trees, rolling hills and other private properties, making the area the perfect place to enjoy a peaceful escape on the Algarve.
Villa Milho is ideally situated between Albufeira (30 minutes away) and Portimão (25 minutes away) in the sleepy Carvoeiro area. Arriving at the villa initially, you’ll find that Villa Milho is about 45 minutes from Faro airport, or you can drive to the villa as part of a wider trip with ease as the region is well connected to Portugal’s major roadways.
Your nearest beach is the beautiful Blue Flag Praia do Vale de Centeanes, which is about five minutes away by car. You’re also just five minutes away from Praia de Carvoeiro, another Blue Flag beach, and the town centre itself. Despite a dramatic cliffside separating the two beaches, you can easily walk between them as a boardwalk connects the two with stunning views over the cliff’s edge.
While you can walk to any of the beaches nearby we do recommend driving as the journey is quite steep upon your return.
