Access to Villa Pedregais is provided by a private security gate that leads to a private driveway and parking space that can easily fit up to three cars. Surrounded by leafy green trees and plants, Villa Pedregais is naturally shrouded by outsiders. The somewhat remote location of Villa Pedregais tucked down a quiet side street away from the town centre all but guarantees plenty of peace and quiet during your stay.
Blending traditional Portuguese style with Classical architecture, Villa Pedregais strikes a dramatic figure upon arrival with grand white columns wrapped in bright flowers.
With everything you need located on a single level, Villa Pedregais is a great choice for groups who may have limited mobility. Taking stock of your communal spaces, everything at Villa Pedregais is a homely mixture of traditional villa style and modern convenience. Your large living room boasts cool natural floors and bright white brick walls. Large sofas gather around a cosy fireplace and a TV for you to watch. Finishing off the room, huge windows overlook the surrounding garden and countryside, flooding the room with natural light during the day.
Your kitchen is bright, open and features everything you and your guests need to make delicious meals for the whole group. Behind the main preparation, area is a small breakfast bar which you can use for quick bites and light snacks. Group meals can be taken indoors using the adjacent dining room or outside in the garden where additional dining space is set out for you. In the garden, you’ll also find a barbecue for you to use.
Villa Pedregais has four spacious bedrooms, all decorated in cooling traditional colours of blue and white. One suite features a double bed with a fireplace and a private en-suite bathroom with a bathroom. The remaining three bedrooms all feature double beds and share bathroom facilities. Two separate additional shower rooms are located nearby.
Outside, your lovingly landscaped gardens are great for unwinding and taking in the fresh Mediterranean air. Perfect for play, picnics and relaxation alike, guests of all ages love the wide-open space of Villa Pedregais’s garden.
Finally, set at the heart of the garden and surrounded by gorgeous tropical trees is your large private swimming pool. Surrounding the swimming pool is a sun terrace complete with sun loungers which you can use to dry off after a swim and catch the sun.Villa Pedregais has a great location, set down a quiet side street in the foothills of Alvor. Getting to Villa Pedregais in the first place is relatively straightforward, with excellent road links surrounding it. If you’re heading to Villa Pedregais straight from the airport, your nearest airport is in Faro which is about 50 minutes away by car.
From your villa, you’re within walking distance to several amenities like local diners and grocery stores. In Alvor, you’ll also find plenty of shops, bars and restaurants for a patron during your visit. While you can get around Alvor relatively easily on foot, we recommend renting a car for the duration of your stay as the surrounding area is relatively hilly and can be steep in places, making it unsuitable for guests with mobility issues. You’ll also benefit from having access to a car if you wish to explore beyond Alvor and visit other sites along the Algarve.
There are lots of beaches nearby to choose from, though your nearest is the pristine Praia da Torralta, a beautiful golden sand beach located on the edge of town which seems to stretch on for miles.
Also nearby is the beautiful Alto Golf and Country Club. Set just a five-minute drive away from Villa Pedregais, this well-tended 18-hole golf course is popular with golfers from all over the world.
For days out, you’re within easy access to several great destinations and sites of interest. Ten minutes to the east of your villa is Portimão, a historic coastal town with lots to see and do.
