Casa Perucca Italy
Holiday Home Rental Description
Offering panoramic views over the tree-dotted hills of the Tuscan countryside and a secluded position within an extensive estate is characterful Casa Perucca. It sits on a hill overlooking the Ombrone River and the area where the best Brunello di Montalcino wine is produced – at wineries such as the Castelgiocondo Estate.
Casa Perucca is perfect for larger groups, with flexible accommodation over three beautiful properties. Each is a showcase of traditional features balanced with a relaxed elegance. Naturally, wine-tasting and vineyard tours are popular activities in the area, as are horseback riding and long country walks.
Themes of tasteful furnishings, wood beams, antique pieces and rustic charm flow throughout the main villa. You have a choice of rooms to unwind and recharge your batteries after a long day of sightseeing or country pursuits. Sink back into the leather sofa in the beamed studio room as you relax with a book or watch television. The sociable living space has enough comfortable seating for everyone to get together in the evenings before dinner is served in the adjacent dining room. There’s another living room on the first floor, so you’ll always find a place to suit the occasion and mood. The kitchen boasts plenty of country house charm and a long hardwood table that’s ideal for cooking classes, should you wish to arrange them.
Over the three floors of the main villa are four elegantly-furnished bedrooms, each with an ensuite bathroom that is as equally attractive. The sense of grandeur is sure to impress and have you looking forward to retiring to such refined spaces when night falls.
The guest house offers self-contained accommodation that includes spaces for living, dining and cooking, as well as direct access to the garden. A further two bedrooms make the guest house a great option for a smaller family. The pool house with one ensuite bedroom, meanwhile, is ideally suited to a couple.
All three properties are surrounded by the lawned gardens that are such a idyllic feature of Casa Perucca. The gardens themselves are bordered by unspoilt Tuscan countryside, so you really do feel away from it all here. Enjoy the clear views over the hills from the infinity pool and the number of seating and dining areas dotted around the outside space. There’s a vegetable garden and an old brick well adding even more character. Also enjoy the facilities of a gym room by the pool area.
Casa Perucca is a dream for wine and art lovers, with a number of wineries close by and the city of Siena less than an hour’s drive away.
