An elegant mansion with an intriguing history located next to the infamous apartment complex of the Puente Romano on the golden mile of Marbella. Enjoy the exceptionally large grounds adorned with fountains which surround this Hollywood style home which royalty and Hollywood stars have previously enjoyed.
Encompassing lavish furnishing with hand-painted ceilings, beautiful luxurious drapes, Persian rugs and spectacular chandeliers the main house accommodates eight people. Each of the beautifully decorated bedrooms is very spacious, and all have ensuite bathrooms, dressing rooms and wonderful terraces overlooking the wonderful gardens and out to the magical Mediterranean Sea.
Boasting the most splendid amenities, from your very own cinema room, a great place to keep the children entertained and to also avoid the midday heat in the hot summer months and our very own sauna, spa and massage room for some genuine pampering time. The guest house, which has a sense of extra privacy, leads out on to the pool area and is equally as elegant as the main house with two large double bedrooms both with en suite. The house has Wi-Fi and air conditioning throughout combined with underfloor heating for the cooler months.
The Golden Mile has long been the nickname for the five-kilometre strip of coastline running between the la concha mountain peak and the Mediterranean Sea which starts at the west of Marbella and runs all the way to its world-famous luxury marina of Puerta Banus. Divided into two separate areas you have the coast road which runs parallel to the sea and is home to numerous commercial centres and some of the best cafes, bars and restaurants Marbella has to offer. You also have the beachside which has one of the longest and prettiest pedestrian promenades in Europe and features many trendy beach clubs and restaurants.
Relax with friends and family with a refreshing Gin and tonic in one of the popular beach bars and simply watch the world go by accompanied by the sound of the crashing waves of the warm waters of the Mediterranean Sea.If it’s more of a traditional atmosphere your seeking, then just a short stroll will lead you into the quaint and bustling old town of Marbella. The atmospheric old town is edged with traditional Andalusian whitewashed buildings, flower-covered balconies and winding streets laced with some of the best tapas bars in the area.
The plaza de Los Naranjo’s “Orange Tree Square” attracts all kinds of visitors due to its many restaurants and of course orange trees. Malaga which is the largest city on the Costa del sol is also nearby is the birthplace of Pablo Picasso and is brimming with museums, art galleries all set among a beautiful cityscape of castles, cathedrals and theatres.
In general, the costa del sol itself is mostly peaceful and quiet although there is a large amount of tourism which is mainly because of the warm climate and average water temperature of 18 degrees all year round. Visitors tend to enjoy the highly developed and bustling southwestern part leaving the stunning inland mountains largely untouched and peaceful.
The region, on the whole, is culturally diverse and has a perfectly varied landscape where fabulous beaches, ancient cities and deserts meet the incredible Sierra Nevada mountain range which includes the most southerly ski resort in Europe and the highest point of continental Europe. Whether you’re travelling with friends or family, you will find plenty of options for fun-filled days out for both adults and children.
