A short drive from the St. Emilion and Bordeaux wine regions, this 18th century country house is situated in 3 acres of terraced gardens. Enjoy the views from a stunning infinity pool, two-person hammock and outdoor dining terrace.
The interior, beautifully restored in 2013 to a high standard, features original stone walls in some rooms and modern en-suite bathrooms. With five bedrooms in the main house and three duplexes in the wine chai, several families can holiday together. If there’s a rainy day, Satellite TV, DVD players and a Playstation 3 will keep you entertained.
St. Emilion, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, is a short drive away. Try renowned local wines and explore shops and bakeries on cobbled medieval streets. You’ll also find plenty of outdoor adventures like ballooning, canoeing on the Dordogne and golf close by, or you can tour medieval chateaux and learn the region’s history.
Near Belves-de-Castillon in the Gironde, this family-friendly chateau is 40 minutes from the Bergerac and Bordeaux airports and 15 minutes from Libourne’s TGV train station.
