Located only 500m from the picturesque village of Eygalières, Le Mas Angelique sits right in the centre of a quiet and secluded area that’s the perfect antidote to hectic city life.
Surrounded by grassland, this 17th century farmhouse offers an exceptional view of the nearby village and was one of the first homes built outside the its fortified walls, so you’ll be staying in (and soaking up!) a real slice of French rural history.
Le Mas Angelique offers five double bedrooms and can accommodate up to 14 people. The villa’s real highlight is its magnificent location and its pastoral character. Though it isn’t air conditioned it stays cool all summer thanks to its stone walls, which also keep the heat in all winter. The house truly benefits from its countryside location but is handily only a few steps away from the nearest amenities.
The fully equipped summer kitchen invites guests to relax with a drink late into the evening in the shadow of a pergola covered with vines, or under umbrellas or the shade of trees in the relaxation area. If you’re feeling more active, head to the pool or the gym, which is even equipped with a solarium should you feel the need for a bit of winter sun!
The farmhouse is located only five minutes away from the nearest village, which makes for a pleasant walk through the surrounding scrubland. There are no real neighbours but you’re still close to handy commodities, bars and restaurants.

There are also many local activities including fishing, climbing, swimming and golfing. In the villa you’ll find a gym, toys and a playground for kids, as well as bikes for a spot of off-road exploring. There is also a table tennis table and a big summer kitchen.The rental fee includes bed linen, towels and pool towels. A cleaner comes once a week for 3 hours, and all bed linen is changed on Saturdays. There is no extra fee to stay during the winter and you can use the woods to light a fire in the fireplace for free.
