Villa Verbena is a unique holiday home as it was built 300 years ago and entirely renovated in 2015. Located in the pretty village of San Carlos, the home sits in the countryside but isn’t too far away from some of the island’s most wonderful beaches, including Aguas Blancas, Cala Nova and Cala Boix.
In the garden, attractive straw huts provide shelter from the sun which soars during the summer months. Under the largest hut, you will discover a comfy bed for you to nap in as you listen to the gentle sounds of the nature that surrounds you.
A luscious green lawn and lovely stone patio lie on either side of the glistening private pool. Swimming laps are the perfect way to start your morning and you can do that every day at Villa Verbena.
Miles of greenery in the background provides a calm ambience which can be taken in at one of the various outdoor spots in the garden. Poolside sun loungers look straight up to the sky and there are an outdoor kitchen and dining area on the garden’s veranda. A cosy sofa sits right beside the kitchen for sleeping off those gorgeous Mediterranean al fresco meals.
Inside, you will be delighted at how tastefully styled the home is. White décor is beautifully complemented by pops of bright pink and the ceilings boast rustic wooden beams made of Sabine. The home’s furniture was predominantly sourced from local markets across Ibiza.Cala Nova Beach is a flawless natural beauty close to the home. Neighboured by an enchanting green forest, this beach is a wonderful location to simply unwind in, watching the natural world go by in the gentle sea breeze. Loungers and parasols are available to relax on.
If you find your curiosity persuading you to go for a walk while at this beach, you can do in the pine-covered hill behind you!
The shallow waters are perfect for families as kids will be able to enjoy the sea safely. Atzaro The Chiringuito is a small beach bar located on the beach and serves a tantalising array of fresh seafood and exotic cocktails. The fresh fish is simply divine! The venue also benefits from a lovely chic white décor.
Guests can indulge in a pedalo ride across the waters which are also popular with surfers during windy days. Cala Nova is ideal for those seeking peace in the great outdoors. The beach doesn’t often get crowded as it’s located away from hotels and sits nearby the more lively beach location of Es Caná.
Enfarinarte is a nearby restaurant in San Carlos renowned for its tasty pizzas. The restaurant is small enough to miss, but once you discover it, you won’t be disappointed. The charming venue serves oven fresh Italian pizza and plays upbeat music, creating a lively atmosphere.
