Villa Querida is a delightfully restored farmhouse in the Mallorcan countryside situated between the charming towns of Santanyi and s’Alqueria Blanca. The villa is full of character and charm boasting a fabulous summer kitchen with a large barbecue and oak dining table, perfect for al fresco dining on warm summer’s days.
Dating back to the 16th Century, this villa still contains much of its original charm and features with lovely old thick stone walls which contribute to the welcoming feel of the house, as well as keeping the house naturally cool during the height of the summer.
This is an ideal villa for families with children with a lovely lawned garden providing plenty of space to play and run around. There is also a large outdoor games house with a pool table and table tennis. The pristine swimming pool is surrounded by reclining sun beds where you can relax under the Spanish sun.
Villa Querida accommodates 6 guests and consists of 3 bedrooms which are all air conditioned to provide extra comfort. The is a fully equipped kitchen, laundry rooms and two comfortable sitting rooms providing you with all the necessary features you may need.
The villa is in a desirable location, being within walking distance of shops, restaurants and bars. Offering up an abundance of regional goods and produce, from fruit and vegetables to antiques and handicrafts, the market also provides a good reason to sit in one of the many bars or cafes and have some tasty tapas and thirst-quenching refreshments.
Along with vast promenades and marina, the popular seaside resorts of Puerto Pollensa, Alcudia and Cala D’or all offer a vast and eclectic selection of places to eat, drink and relax, as well as offering some wonderful family friendly beaches.
For nature lovers, a holiday in Mallorca presents the perfect opportunity to view the abundance of nature that Mallorca is renowned for. Cycle trails, which take you from the beachfront to the mountainside, are an excellent way to view the island. Bicycles are available to hire locally from around €8 to €20 per day.
