This precious stone villa in Mallorca is the perfect locale for a honeymoon (or a “no reason” getaway for two!) Outside, the private pool and terrace are large enough for more than just two to enjoy the beauty of the garden and the hills beyond.
You’re near enough to the old town of Pollença to walk there (1.6 km). On Sundays there’s a lovely market here – bring home a load of produce for the grill. Be sure to climb the 365 Calvari Steps to gain a bird’s eye view of the town, surrounded by mountains. If you’re up for a short drive there’s a romantic viewpoint at Formentor Lighthouse, which sits high above the sea at the northeast tip of the island.
The beaches of Puerto Pollença (7 km) are pristine, nothing but white sand and blue sea. There’s a large selection of restaurants here – when you’re on holiday in Mallorca it’s not cliché to have a romantic meal followed by a sunset walk on the beach. The villa is ideally located within walking distance of the atmospheric and historic town of Pollensa, with its cobbled streets, rich cultural scene and fantastic eateries.
