Casa Morrito enjoys one of the most sought-after locations in our Pollensa portfolio, although located inland it is only 3 km from the beach. With so many of the key ingredients for a carefree holiday to offer this impressive property has a longer than standard private swimming pool (12m x 5m).
Selected highlights include a bright and comfortable interior, grand central staircase, fixed pool fence with an L shaped covered terrace adjacent. Recently constructed and thoughtfully designed by the owner, the glorious position of the house radiates and appeals across all age groups.
Furnishings are predominantly modern with a subtle classic twist with plump leather sofas standing alongside chunky polished wooden Teak and Oak tables, doors and wall units. There are, in fact, several dedicated sitting areas inside and out, allowing the opportunity to enjoy your own individual relaxing spot.
Entering the property, you will be greeted by a beautiful sweeping wrought iron staircase and spacious hallway, which gives an agreeable sense of space. Leading off the hallway, you will find a lounge with patio doors opening out to a shady fenced balcony, flat-screen TV and glass-fronted fireplace. Along the hallway, there is a modern fully equipped kitchen with all mod cons and ample seating for inside family dining.
Conveniently on the ground floor, there is a twin bedroom with ensuite bathroom and fitted wardrobes. On the first floor you will find two further bedrooms; 1 x double bedroom and 1 x twin bedroom both with ensuite bathrooms. All bedrooms have air conditioning, fitted wardrobes and both first-floor bedroom have Juliet balconies. There is also separate communal WC located on the ground floor.
Externally you will find a good-sized private swimming pool (12m x 5m) which has a fixed pool fence and gate, a feature sure to be appreciated by parents of non-swimmers and younger family members.
Adjacent to the pool is a pergola and sun loungers adding comfort to the exteriors and also a brick BBQ. The paved garden offers space and is surrounded by local flowerage and sweet-scented hibiscus boarding the terraced, making this a perfect spot to dine while admiring the pastoral and mountain views.Pollensa – just 3 km away – Casa Morrito is located between the towns of Pollensa and Puerto Pollensa, the eastern end of the Serra de Tramuntana. Pollensa is an enchanting Mallorcan town packed with ancient blonde stone architecture, Pollenca doesn’t feel like many of the other towns which have surrendered to tourism.
Although tourists have long been attracted here, Pollensa has learned to accept and adapt to tourism without losing its soul. Wander the streets that lead to the church to discover traditional outlets selling a range of foods, arts and crafts as well as cafes, restaurants and bars. The highlight of the week is the authentic and traditional market that occurs every Sunday morning.
Get there early to secure the freshest fruit, vegetables, meat and fish. The Calvari steps provide the best view of the local area but be warned that to get to the top, you have to climb 365 of them. However, the climb is worth it, and the views definitely do not disappoint from the top.
Puerto Pollensa just 3.1 km away, offers wonderful scenery, beautiful sandy beaches and a laid-back, friendly atmosphere, make Puerto Pollensa a favourite destination for many. With hotels on the seafront that still retain an old-fashioned air, having been built long before the concrete boom of the 1960s developments.
Today the town attracts mainly British and Madrileño families looking for something more than the hustle and bustle of the south coast resorts. With wonderful scenery, beautiful sandy beaches and a laid-back, friendly atmosphere, makes Puerto Pollensa a favourite destination for many.
Cala Sant Vincente just 6.4 km away is a small resort town in north-eastern Majorca, Spain. It consists of three small beaches, plus a few bars and restaurants catering to tourists.
