Villa Alvera is a delightful Mallorcan style villa, set in a charming Mediterranean garden. The villa is filled with the personal touches of the owner, making it truly a home away from home, so you can settle in from the moment you walk in the front door. The wonderful housekeeper is a true asset to the villa, a full breakfast and three hours’ housekeeping are offered 6 days per week and included in the price. Evening meals are also available upon request (at an extra charge) so you can lay back and relax for your stay with the luxuries provided for you.
Villa Alvera has a modern and contemporary style throughout, all the rooms are bright and airy. On the ground floor, there is a spacious living/dining room, with a fully equipped kitchen, should you choose to cook for yourself. There is a twin bedroom on this level, this is the only bedroom without air-conditioning. Up a few steps, there are two double bedrooms both with en-suite bathrooms. On the first floor there is a further double bedroom with an en-suite, walk in wardrobe and a stunning private terrace.
Most of the villa gives way to views of the fantastic exterior grounds, with the ground floor providing access. There is a large lawn area, covered chill out terrace, built in BBQ and wood oven. The attractive infinity pool is perfect for cooling off in the warm Spanish climate. There is plenty of space to dine al-fresco and if in the middle of lunch or dinner and you run out of wine… don’t let panic ensue, the basement has a great wine cellar with a good selection of wines and spirits. The price of these are paid at the end of your stay directly to the housekeeper. Villa Alvera offers you those luxuries you have been waiting for, there is something for everyone!The property is located just a short distance from the historic town of Pollensa, and only a short drive to the beautiful bays of Puerto Pollensa and Cala San Vicente.
Pollensa has everything you need for a wonderful holiday, situated inland from some of Spain’s finest sand beaches. The town itself centres around beautiful cobbled streets leading to a traditional church. Wander the streets that lead to the church to discover traditional outlets selling a range of foods, arts and crafts as well as cafes, restaurants and bars. The highlight of the week is the authentic and traditional market that occurs every Sunday morning. Get there early to secure the freshest fruit, vegetables, meat and fish.
The Calvari steps provide the best view of the local area, but be warned that to get to the top you have to climb 365 of them.
