Villa Amalur is a contemporary, unique property situated just a 10-minute drive from Pollenca. The property was totally refurbished in 2014 and now presents a gorgeous blend of modern and Mediterranean style. The villa has breath-taking views onto the bays of Cala San Vicente and Pollenca that make this a truly special property for a summer retreat in Mallorca.
The villa is spread over two floors, with the ground floor featuring a bright and airy, open-plan living/dining/kitchen area with large windows offering glimpses to the outdoors. The space is ideal for socialising as group, enjoying meals and quality time together. There is a twin bedroom with bunk beds on this floor with a further four en-suite bedrooms on the first floor. The house is beautifully decorated, with natural light giving a warm, cosy ambience to the spacious rooms. The owners have added their personal touch with pieces from their travels, making the atmosphere one of a home away from home.
Villa Amalur has a stunning feature of a surrounding exterior terrace, the perfect spot for a morning coffee or a glass of local wine in the evening whilst watching the sun set on the horizon. The external grounds at this villa are something special, for enhanced privacy and tranquillity the villa is in the upper area of a residential complex. The private swimming pool is the perfect spot for cooling off in the warm Spanish climate whilst admiring the view.
The property is just a 10-minute drive from the old town of Pollenca. Better, if you like exercising you can also walk, run or cycle into town, just don’t underestimate the hill on you way back. There is plenty to do in the local area, with restaurants, bars, shops and water sports, there is something for everyone. The property is located just a short distance from the historic town of Pollensa, and only a short drive to the beautiful bays of Puerto Pollensa and Cala San Vicente.
Pollensa has everything you need for a wonderful holiday, situated inland from some of Spain’s finest sand beaches. The town itself centres around beautiful cobbled streets leading to a traditional church. Wander the streets that lead to the church to discover traditional outlets selling a range of foods, arts and crafts as well as cafes, restaurants and bars. The highlight of the week is the authentic and traditional market that occurs every Sunday morning. Get there early to secure the freshest fruit, vegetables, meat and fish.
The Calvari steps provide the best view of the local area, but be warned that to get to the top you have to climb 365 of them.
