Villa Alandra is a beautiful, completely unique property situated in one of the most charming villages in Mallorca. The village of Deià is idyllic, with ocher stone houses and character filled streets, the area has become a haven for millionaires, in the shadow of the Teix Mountain, on the west coast of the island. The property is only a short three-minute stroll to the centre, so you can wonder in any time you like with ease.
The villa has been beautifully restored and renovated, with contemporary designs furnishings throughout. Dating from the 18th century, the villa blends historic charm and comforts with modern aesthetics, creating a welcoming ambience with elegant simplicity, were you can truly feel at home. Spread over two floors, there is a lovely living space on the ground floor, with a relaxed living room and fireplace opening onto the kitchen, a perfect space for spending time together. There is also a twin bedroom on this floor with its own en-suite bathroom. The first-floor features three more bedrooms, one of which has an en-suite and also a further bathroom.
Outside it is a small Mallorcan paradise, with its garden and salt swimming pool forming an intimate and peaceful hideaway. There is a summer, outdoor kitchen where you can prepare meals and lunch in the shade of the trellis and palm trees. Find yourself relaxing for hours in one of the villas hammocks, reading your favourite book and letting any worries melt away. Villa Alandra is a wonderful retreat away, with a unique atmosphere that will make you want to come back as soon as possible. Villa Alandra is a 3-minute walk from the centre of the village of Deià on the west coast of Mallorca. For those wishing to escape the main tourist areas of Mallorca, this location is perfect. The nearest beach is Cala de Deva, which is only a 20-minute walk from the house (10-minutes by car). For the more active, there are mountains and coastlines for hiking. Deià is a village of unique character, which has inspired many artists, writer and musicians. There are picturesque landscapes and a bohemian lifestyle to enjoy and explore. Many millionaires have also settled there, making Deià a chic retreat. If you want to taste the local atmosphere, go see a concert at Café Sa Fonda, 1.5km from the house.
