Holiday Home Rental Description
In a truly breathtaking hillside location, Villa Bola is an irresistible Mallorca villa for six. Manicured lawns with palm trees surround the pool at this natural stone house in the village of Son Macià, where views stretch across the valley.Just 11km from the beaches of Cala Varques and Cala Bota, this 3-bedroom villa is located off a quiet country lane, ensuring peace and tranquillity for guests. Everyone will enjoy the outdoor spaces which include a magnificent covered dining terrace with brick barbecue, a second dining area on the courtyard, and of course the 10 x 4.5m pool.
Sun loungers and an outdoor shower can be found poolside too, with views of vineyards, olive groves and verdant hills making your lazy days in the sun even more pleasurable. You can also enjoy these from the upstairs terrace, directly accessible from two of the bedrooms.
Downstairs, you have French doors which lead into the living room with flat-screen TV, music system and comfortable seating. Walk through to the dining area, and you’ll see the family dining table and large dresser. This leads to the kitchen equipped with everything from a dishwasher and microwave to a coffee machine and electric oven.
Also on this level is a double bedroom with en-suite bath, a cloakroom with shower and a utility room, while the upstairs is reserved for two twins – both of these bedrooms have an en-suite shower room of their own.
Pretty Son Macià is around 2km from Villa Bola, and its central plaza is the place to go to discover a selection of restaurants and tapas bars. Some excellent beaches line the nearby east coast, like those of Cala Romantica and Cala Mendia. You are also close to the island’s second-largest town, Manacor, worth checking out for its street markets and local cuisine, as well as the natural beauty of the 29km Via Verde. It’s also something of a tennis hub, as the hometown of world champion Rafa Nadal, who has established Manacor’s International Tennis Centre. The peaceful village of Son Macià lies around 8km south of Manacor on Mallorca’s eastern side. This makes it as convenient for the town as it is for the coast, with a line-up of beautiful beaches waiting to be discovered not much further away.Son Macià itself has a pleasant central square where you can sit and enjoy a drink or meal from one of the bars or restaurants. Surrounded by tranquil countryside, the village lies around 11km west of Cala Romantica, a family-friendly white sand beach with rugged cliffs and shallow waters. Just up the coast, you may also enjoy Cala Mendia or the resort of Porto Cristo, which has both a zoo and water-sports school.Manacor is the second-largest town on the island, known for its industriousness and its imitation pearls. A popular town like this has no shortage of dining options, and plenty of historical interest as well – while keen walkers will want to make their mark on the scenic Via Verde. At Excellence Luxury Villas we pride ourselves on going that little bit further for our guests.
