This welcoming 4 bedroom villa sits tucked away in a lovely private position in the sedate Costa De La Calma, just 18 km from the amazing city of Palma De Mallorca. Surrounded by mature foliage, well-appointed and very pleasantly decorated, first impressions on arrival at Villa Carob are certainly appealing. Whatever that elusive quality is which makes a house an instantly welcoming home from home, it can be found here in abundance! Spending time in the sunshine in this pretty environment and enjoying the pool is exactly what holidays are all about. Located close to 3 of the most prestigious marinas on the island, Puerto Andratx, Puerto Adriano, Puerto Portals and walking distance to the local beach, this property offers everything.
Inside, neutral colours with modern fixtures and fittings combine effortlessly with the feel and atmosphere of typical ‘New English’ style. Decorated and looked after with great care, the interior is roomy and instantly welcoming with comfortable solid wooden furniture, quality prints and items of local memorabilia adding character to this amazing property.
Entering the property via the front or rear door gives you direct access to the ground floor living area. Off of the open-plan living area which incorporates a cosy lounge with wall mounted plasma TV, spacious dining area and bright modern fully equipped kitchen, you’ll find the well-appointed bedrooms. The property has 4 bedrooms with bedrooms 1,2 and 3 located in the main house. The master bedroom has an en-suite bathroom and bedrooms 2 and 3 share a large family bathroom with huge jet bath tub! Bedroom 2 is a twin bedroom and bedroom 3 is a children’s room that consists of bunk beds with an extra pull out bed underneath the lower bunk therefore a 3rd child can sleep here enabling the villa to sleep 9.  Bedroom 4 is in a separate annex with en-suite shower room and conveniently opens out onto a terrace and outside covered kitchen area. The exterior kitchen, with views over the garden, is also fully equipped and here you will find the gas BBQ.
The garden area boasts a brush top pergola with table and chairs and also comfortable sofa seating and sun loungers around the pool.  The swimming pool has roman steps and is 2 mtr’s deep throughout and for children’s entertainment there is also a no spring trampoline and swing frame adjacent.
Palma airport is approximatley 30 mins drive and the small village of Costa de la Calma offers a variety of restaurants and small bays. It is also located just 18 km from the historic capital city of Palma therefore perfect for visiting the city attractions, shopping or even dining in some of the amazing restaurants this city offers. There are excellent beaches nearby that include Cala Blanca that has lovely clear waters and is characterised by its rocks and small coves. The resort of Santa Ponsa has two white sandy beaches, a larger beach and a smaller cove, both of which can be reached within a 5-10 minute drive of the villa. Close by there are excellent golf facilities: the Santa Ponsa Golf Course complex, the Real Golf de Bendinat, and the Club de Golf de Poniente.
This coastal region located in the southwest of Palma de Mallorca, between Santa Ponsa and Paguera belongs to the municipality of Calvia. The translation of the name is “coast of peace and quiet” and this is exactly what you encounter here – a beautiful, quiet and relaxed coastal area close to lively neighbouring cities. The region has 1.612 residents and celebrates each year between the 4th and 15th of August its “fiestas” together with El Toro. Part of Costa de la Calma is Cala Blanca, a lovely swimming bay with various sea accesses. In 1343 king Pedro IV of Aragón landed in Costa de la Calma just before overtaking the kingdom from Jaime III.
