A beautifully presented three-bedroom property in an idyllic hillside location, Villa Manacor is the perfect holiday retreat for friends or families wanting to escape everyday life in exchange for magnificent views, tranquil surroundings and ultimate relaxation.
The open-plan living and dining area provides a perfect setting for guests to come together and socialise as a group. Retaining much of its traditional Mediterranean charm, the space is decorated in warm, welcoming tones, with whitewashed walls, terracotta floor tiles and exposed timber. The room is bursting with trinkets, striking artwork and quirky artefacts, marrying rustic with modern with the addition of a satellite TV and complimentary WiFi. With doors leading out to the garden terraces, it is a lovely spot to relax on the comfortable sofa or eat at the dining table whilst enjoying the warm breeze and beautiful views. The dining area leads straight through to the homely kitchen, which is fully fitted with a walk-in pantry and all the modern requirements needed to cater for a group.
The effortlessly decorated master bedroom is fitted with a super king-size bed, ideal for maximum rest and relaxation! With fitted wardrobes, there is plenty of space for storing away your belongings and the large windows offer far-reaching views across the valleys. This bedroom also benefits from an en-suite shower room, affording guests extra privacy. The second bedroom is light and airy, decorated in calming shades of aqua, grey and blue, with a queen-size bed and wardrobe. The final bedroom has twin beds and benefits from its own private sun terrace, the perfect spot to watch the sun rise in the morning. There is an additional bath and shower room which can be shared by guests of the latter two bedrooms.
Outside, the views from the garden, terraces, poolside and beyond are truly spectacular. Offering an unrivalled look at the verdant Son Macia valley, it truly is a breath-taking backdrop. The grounds are set in the heart of the countryside, surrounded by beautiful foliage and shrubbery. The secluded location of Villa Manacor affords guests the luxury of relaxing in one of the many terraced hideaways, whilst enjoying the peaceful, quiet surroundings and scent of nature. With a BBQ, multiple outdoor dining areas and a gazebo, there are plentiful opportunities to enjoy dinner al fresco, whilst admiring the remarkable blazing red sunsets. The pool is positioned at the top of the terrace so guests can admire the stunning views whilst dipping in the water or reclining on one of the many sun loungers.Villa Manacor is set within the peaceful hills of the beautiful Son Macia valley. It is the perfect place to recharge your batteries, explore via hike or bike, and relax in comfort. A six minute drive away is the rural village of Son Macia with a village square and locally run café and patisserie, it’s a superb spot to while away the day with a coffee, or pick up some lovingly-made pastries for a relaxed breakfast at home.
North of the villa is the birthplace of Rafael Nadal, Manacor, where you can enjoy a game of tennis at his academy, visit the local museums, or join the hustle and bustle of one of the busiest street markets on the island, held every Monday morning.
Further afield, coastal town Cales de Mallorca is a fifteen minute drive to the East, with restaurants, supermarkets, and nightlife all on offer. Cales de Mallorca is served by a plethora of beaches, with the family friendly and popular Cala Antena, Cala Tropicana and, for the more adventurous, a short hike to the secluded Cala Domingos and Cala Bota offer the perfect relaxing reward. Head north east from the Villa and you will find a bounty of further beautiful beaches, with Cala Anguila, Cala Mendia, and the stunning Cala Romantica, all fifteen minute drive away to the North East.
Further on, the traditional Spanish fishing village of Porto Cristo promises a sheltered cove with a beautiful wide beach of fine sand and shallow waters, an active marina with boat tours available, and the awe inspiring underground Coves dels Hams and Coves del Drac, both breath-taking sights for families and explorers. Water sports are a popular pursuit in the area, with diving, paddle boarding, and boat trips available at many of the local beaches, giving families, couples, and groups lots to do together.
Twenty minutes south west of Villa Manacor lies the traditional rural town of Felantix, the main town of Mallorca’s second wine producing area, Pla & Llevent, which produces delicious white and red wines. It is home to a Sunday morning street market around the church of Sant Miquel, with local pottery displayed on the church steps, and is close to Sanctuary Sant Salvador and Castle Santueri, both perched on top of hills offering picturesque views of both Mallorca and the sea.At Excellence Luxury Villas we pride ourselves on going that little bit further for our guests.
