Villa Rimbo is a magnificent beachfront villa located in Eastern Bali along the exclusive coast of Candidasa. With five incredible bedrooms, this villa sleeps up to 12 guests and provides the perfect home-base for a family, groups of friends or multiple couples travelling together.
Situated facing one of the hidden white sand beaches, Villa Rimbo combines typical Balinese heritage with contemporary architecture, and embraces the noble material of Bali where the natural light and ocean view surround you.
This incredible villa has been furnished beautifully; with a modern yet traditional Balinese feel throughout, guests are in complete luxury and seclusion at Villa Rimbo. The entire house is filled with natural light, and the five bedrooms have each been finished to the highest standard, and all offer spectacular views of the ocean. All bedrooms feature a private ensuite bathroom and a private open area such as a terrace, garden or patio. The luxurious lounge area is perfect for relaxing, and the spacious dining area would be a fantastic setting for a dinner party. The large modern kitchen features plenty of prep space and state-of-the-art appliances. There is also a media room equipped with a projector and music instruments such as piano, guitar, and an electric drum set for any musical guests.
With a huge infinity pool overlooking the ocean and direct access to your own private beach, guests will be in absolute heaven at Villa Rimbo. There is also a separate pool house, a sauna, jacuzzi, and incredible al fresco dining facilities. Guests can wander around the gorgeous tropical gardens, or take a dip in the incredible ocean; the villa provides paddleboards, snorkeling gear, trampoline, yoga mat and more upon request. Guests can also request an in-house masseuse, yoga lessons, baby sitting services, a manicurist, and even a private boat tour that will pick you up from the villa’s own private beach.
Staff are ready on site daily from 7.00 AM – 8.00 PM. They will take care of your breakfast and ensure the cleanliness of your room, bathroom, and laundry. Villa Rimbo is a truly spectacular property that offers guests nothing but luxury at every turn.
Villa Rimbo is located in Candidasa, a picturesque seaside town in Eastern Bali; Candidasa rests on the edge of a fresh water lagoon, and is often described as a more sedate alternative to the busy, nightclub filled Kuta area. With plenty of restaurants and bars, guests are spoilt for choice; the restaurants serve delicious authentic Balinese cuisine with wide variety and at very cheap prices. Guests can take a bicycle ride around the local areas, where they can visit ancient villages seemingly untouched by modernity, and the beautiful landscapes and seascapes of this secluded and laidback coast.
Candidasa is a great spot for snorkeling and diving. There are three islands just of the coast: Gili Tepekong, Gili Mimpang and – a bit further north-east, Gili Biaha. All three offer excellent diving, especially for more experienced divers. Currents can be quite strong and surprising, but most of the dive centres in Candidasa are trust-worthy. Other dive sites include the Jetty (in between Candidasa and Padang Bai), which is a paradise for macro fans. If guests want to visit a different beach, Pasir Putih beach, aka Virgin beach has stunning white sands and incredible turquoise waters. There are also lots of bars, restaurants and water activities here.
Guests cannot visit Bali without visiting some ancient temples; the Goa Lawahb – the ‘bat cave’ temple of Bali – is unique and mysterious, featuring a temple complex that was built around a cave opening home to hordes of bats. If guests fancy a challenge, the Lempuyang Temple is one of Bali’s oldest and most remote temples, but if you manage to reach here, be prepared for one of the most breathtaking temple and mountain sceneries on the island. The journey here resembles a mountain trek, with steep ascents, and comprises two parts with the main temple at 1,175m above sea level on the peak of the namesake mountain. A steep staircase with over 1,700 steps lead up to the peak, through a forest inhabited by grey long-tailed macaques. The midway temple is sufficient for most visitors, with towering shrine and temple gate structures and dragon staircases. The high panoramas over the hilly region make great travel photos.
One of the focal landmarks of Candidasa is the lotus lagoon, which provides a spectacular sight with its expansive body of water filled with pink and fuchsia lotuses, and a small garden island with statues at its centre. The lagoon is free to the public, and is accessible from the roadside. Across the road on a higher elevation is the temple that the area is named after, featuring twin shrines under a densely forested hillside. From here, you get a better perspective of the whole lagoon, including a glimpse of the sea and the small offshore rock formations iconic to the Candidasa seascape.At Excellence Luxury Villas we pride ourselves on going that little bit further for our guests.
