The villa is located in the quiet residential area of sa Punta des Port which is part of Cala D’or. Just a short walk from the quaint fishing village of Cala Egos, this 4-bedroom villa has an ideal setting that ensures a perfect holiday location for your family or group holiday. Here you can enjoy endless hours sunbathing on the private sun terrace adjacent to the swimming pool between refreshing dips into this curvaceous pool with shallow seating section. The rocky cove of Cala Llamp is just 500 meters away and the small sandy beach of Cala Egos is just a 10-minute walk from the property. The popular marina of Cala D’or is just 2 km away from the villa and here you will find an abundance of shops, bars and restaurants. You can sample authentic dishes in the local restaurants and pick up souvenirs in the charming villages scattered in this area.
The interior has been tastefully decorated with tile floors, whitewashed walls and comfortable furnishings with a Tunisian style. The entrance door leads to the living room with comfortable sofas, DVD, Sat-TV and a cd player. This room leads onto the dining area which opens onto the fully equipped modern kitchen with all the mod cons. The fully equipped kitchen leads invitingly out to the al fesco dining terrace area and built BBQ terrace. On the ground floor you will find 2 x twin bedroom with shared bathroom and on the first floor there are 2 x double bedrooms with en-suite shower rooms. All bedrooms are airconditioned, have fitted wardrobes and are comfortably designed.
Outside take your pick of external terraces, quiet spaces, al fresco dining areas and shady sitting spots. The circular chlorine pool offers a very shallow section for sitting and cooling off, main dimensions are maximum depth of pool is 1.90m and the shallow end is 1.20m.
Sit back and relax in the sun, watching the children play or having fun splashing around in the pool. In the evenings, fire up the BBQ and take full advantage of Majorca’s warm Mediterranean nights.Cala d’Or or ‘Golden Bay’ in English is the name given to a widely popular, family-friendly tourist resort in the east of the island. Its name could be related to the fact that you are guaranteed the greatest number of sunshine hours on this eastern coastline, being furthest away from the disruptive Serra de Tramuntana mountains, and is close to some of the best beaches.
Cala d’Or actually covers a stretch of development that includes a number of coves: Cala Egos, Cala Ferrera, Cala Esmeralda, Cala Serena, Cala Gran, and Cala Llonga. Each of the various ‘calas’ or bays have their own distinctive character and former fishing harbours have been turned into 21st-century marinas. It’s also worth noting that there’s a mini train connecting them, making it easy for holidaymakers to travel from the main resort to these beaches.
