Taulat Blanc is a compact yet airy, relaxed 4 bedroomed detached holiday house sleeping up to 8 guests in the fabulous city of Barcelona. This whitewashed modern vibe house utilises the original features of this historic building to create a bright, fresh interior with a bohemian feel.
Located on the outskirts of the city in the district of Sants-Montjuic, this has a more laid back ambience than the city centre. There is a variety of shops and restaurants near the accommodation, and there is a bus stop and train station just a short stroll away connecting you to the historical centre in mere minutes. A tip for public transport travel is to purchase a T10 pack of tickets which, at 10 euros, are half the price of individual tickets.
Taulat Blanc is a fabulous property for families and groups of friends. Lovingly renovated in 2011, everything is painted light and bright. The layout of the house accommodates the features of the historical building, which add a rustic charm; you can expect whitewashed walls and exposed beams, blonde woods and arty little pieces scattered about.
The bright, airy open, style living-dining room space offers the best of ‘shabby chic’ living and offers comfy seating with mounds of cushions to sink into, great for watching your satellite TV. The contemporary open kitchen offers a hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer and is perfect for rustling up tasty delights to enjoy at the dining table and benches, or you could step through your private oasis on the outside terrace and fire up the barbeque and enjoy some alfresco dining. The terrace is a lovely secluded space to enjoy, with shady Mediterranean trees, oversized loungers, comfortable seating and a glorious, small but perfect inviting pool. What a place to relax after thrilling days exploring the delights of the city!   
There are 4 minimal simple bedrooms offering flexible sleeping arrangements perfect for family groups. Each sleeping area has 2 single beds, and the property offers clean, compact bathrooms with showers.
For your convenience, the property enjoys both air conditioning and Wi-Fi and has a washing machine, iron and hairdryer. There is parking available outside the house.

You are very well connected to the historical centre of Barcelona, (the nearest metro takes 10 minutes to the centre) and there is so much to see and do, this is a fabulous city to wander through and find unexpected treasures around each corner.
Ciutat Vella is Barcelona’s ‘Old Town’ here you can find the main boulevard ‘La Rambla’ probably the liveliest street in Barcelona, 1200 metres long, with street performers, music and impressive human statues, this people magnet is also home to the colourful Boquera Market with a great selection of local produce; La Rambla is a fabulous place to try Tapas or simply grab a long cool drink at one of the many terraces and people watch, from here you can stroll down to the Port of Barcelona, to look at the beautiful marina, stroll along the promenade or visit the beach.
Off La Ramblas, you can find the labyrinth of The Gothic quarter. Narrow streets and alleyways lined with medieval buildings house artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences, and Historic churches and the spectacular Barcelona Cathedral are hidden gems to be discovered along with beautiful squares, including Placa Reial, a place of outdoor cafes and summer concerts.
Barcelona has some of the most amazing architecture in the world, the most famous being Antonio Gaudi’s La Sagrada Familia Basilica in the Eixample district, which is the most famous building and church in Barcelona; it is truly a stunning work of art and an absolute must-see, and the whole family will adore Park Guell which was designed by Gaudi and is one of the most impressive public parks in the world.
The influence of great painters and artists is evident throughout the city, and Barcelona is an art lover’s delight. The Picasso Museum (Museu Picasso) is the most visited art gallery in Barcelona. The Gallery is home to one of the world’s largest collections of Picasso’s artwork and costs Euro 12 for the main exhibition area. Other noteworthy museums are The Fundacio Joan Miro, The Museum of Modern Art (MNAC) and Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art (MACBA), but there are plenty more to choose from.
Barcelona really has so much to see and do; it can be overwhelming, so it’s worth taking a look at tours on offer.
