Taulat Rosa is a wonderful, fully air-conditioned 5 bedroomed detached holiday house sleeping up to 10 guests in the fabulous city of Barcelona, Spain’s most popular city. Bohemian and arty this whitewashed modern vibe house maximises the use of the space with style and flair.
Located on the outskirts of the city in the district of Sants-Montjuic, this has a calmer ambience than the city centre. There is a convenient supermarket and a few restaurants close to hand, as well as a bus stop and train station just a short stroll away, connecting you to the historical centre in mere minutes. A tip for public transport travel is to purchase a T10 pack of tickets which, at 10 euros, are half the price of individual tickets.
Taulat Rosa is a fabulous property for families and groups of friends. This is shabby chic living at its best; you can expect painted brick walls and whitewashed floors with colourful rugs, chandeliers, exposed beams and industrial style fixtures with quirky sliding doors, plenty of arty objects and an indoor Jacuzzi!
The layout of the house accommodates the features of the historical building so expect quirky little nooks and corners.
The bright, airy open, style living-dining room space has a wonderful relaxing casual feel and is the hub of the house; the well-equipped modern open kitchen offers a hob, oven, microwave, dishwasher and a retro pink fridge-freezer and is perfect for rustling up tasty delights to enjoy at the breakfast bar or large communal table. There is plenty of room to relax in front of the TV  on either the large comfy squashy L shaped sofa or comfy loungers or you can slide open the glass balcony doors and step out onto your own private oasis in the city.
Your outside terrace, surrounded by Mediterranean plants and shrubs, is a wonderful unexpected pleasure; enjoy plush cushioned seating areas, shady spots with billowing curtains, white wicker loungers, a barbeque area and a centrepiece of a gorgeous, inviting pool, perfect for relaxing moments both day and night.
There is 5 compact, simple, yet stylish bedrooms offering flexible sleeping arrangements perfect for family groups. There is a single bedroom, 2 double bedrooms, each containing 2 single beds, a bedroom with 3 single beds and, perfect for the kids, a bedroom containing a set of bunk beds. The property 3 modern style bathrooms 1 with bath/WC, 1 with shower/WC and a separate shower and separate WC.
For your convenience, the property has air conditioning and Wi-Fi along with laundry facilities, including, a washing machine, dryer and iron.

You are very well connected to the historic centre of Barcelona, (the nearest metro takes 10 minutes to the centre) and there is so much to see and do.
Ciutat Vella is Barcelona’s ‘Old Town’ here you can find the main boulevard ‘La Rambla’ probably the liveliest street in Barcelona, 1200 metres long, with street performers, music and impressive human statues, this people magnet is also home to the colourful Boquera Market with a great selection of local produce. La Rambla is a fabulous place to try tapas or simply grab a long cool drink at one of the many terraces and people watch; from here, you can stroll down to the Port of Barcelona to look at the beautiful marina, stroll along the promenade or visit the beach.
Off La Ramblas, you can find the labyrinth of The Gothic quarter. Narrow streets and alleyways lined with medieval buildings house artisan shops and authentic culinary experiences, and Historic churches and the spectacular Barcelona Cathedral are hidden gems to be discovered along with beautiful squares, including Placa Reial, a place of outdoor cafes and summer concerts.
Barcelona has some of the most amazing architecture in the world, the most famous being Antonio Gaudi’s La Sagrada Familia Basilica which is a truly stunning work of art and an absolute must-see. If you have the time, visit Park Guell, a magical park, to see some more wonderful examples of his work.
The influence of great painters and artists is evident throughout the city and Barcelona is an art lover’s delight. The Picasso Museum (Museu Picasso) is the most visited art gallery in Barcelona. The Gallery is home to one of the world’s largest collections of Picasso’s artwork and costs Euro 12 for the main exhibition area. Other noteworthy museums are The Fundacio Joan Miro, The Museum of Modern Art (MNAC) and Barcelona Museum of Contemporary Art (MACBA), but there are plenty more to choose from.
