Chateau Glycines France
Holiday Home Rental Description
Chateau Glycines is a traditional 18th century chateau resting on a hilltop just outside the quaint market town of Aspet, in the outer foothills of the Pyrenees. A property that is all about the great outdoors, surrounded by 11 acres of private grounds where guests have access to their own heated salt water pool, accompanied by a ‘Gaudi-style’ mosaic seating area.
Continuing outdoors you meet an abundance of garden features including a croquet lawn and English rose garden, Wisteria colonnade, large Koi pond, and ornate water features. Inside, the aristocratic luxury is complete, antique wood parquet flooring, marble columns and fireplaces, towering original windows flood the rooms with natural light and chandeliers twinkle from high ceilings.
Relaxing on the ‘Juliette’ balcony, guests can take in incredible views of the valley and sprawling grounds, or sit with a glass of wine on the terrace, and watch the sun set behind the Pyrenees that rise up to dominate the landscape.
