The master bedroom and bathroom take up the whole of the top floor of the house whilst three double bedrooms and a couple of shower rooms can be found downstairs on the pool level. The house also benefits from two kitchens, including one leading straight to the swimming pool terrace – ideal for summer lunches or evening feasts by the plancha-style barbecue.
Relax on the upper terrace with views out towards the mountains and ocean then wander down the spiral staircase to cool off in the swimming pool or perhaps a game of table tennis. There’s a carefree vibe outside with the swaying hammock, plenty of places to eat and drink and splashes of summer colour making this a wonderful place to spend time with family or friends.
It’s around a ten-minute stroll to the nearest sandy beach and a little further to a couple of well-known beachside restaurants which open late into the night on summer weekends. Downtown Biarritz is just 3km away where you can soak up the glitzy ambience and visit the sights or head a little further south to lovely seaside villages such as Bidart and Guéthary.
The stunning interiors of the Pyrénées-Atlantiques are also easily reached with idyllic Basque villages such as Ascain, Sare and Ainhoa close by or spend a pleasant day exploring the city of Bayonne, around twenty minutes away, with its pretty riverside setting and historic charm.
