Each room is designed to ensure you feel completely comfortable during your stay. Stylish décor compliments cosy furnishings and large windows flood light into the living space, making the interiors feel spacious and airy, while framing those amazing panoramic views. The perfectly equipped open-plan kitchen opens up to a large veranda where you can listen to the crashing waves whilst dining al-fresco with picture-perfect views.
On a clear day, you can admire the Spanish coast in the distance from your glorious garden. Above a wild beach popular with surfers, you can also walk to many other popular spots including Plage de la Côte des Basques, another surfing hang-out or as far as La Grande Plage, Biarritz’ most famous town beach. With downtown Biarritz around a 20-minute walk away, you can experience the buzz and excitement of this lively town.
With the coast right below you, there are plenty of beaches to explore. The nearest beach, accessed via steps and very popular with surfers, boasts breathtaking views of the Spanish coast on a clear day. If you are a fan of surfing, wander to the nearby Plage de la Côte des Basques, where people come to ride the perfect waves from all over the world, or further north to the famous La Grande Plage in downtown Biarritz. There are loads of surf schools dotted around that teach all abilities, if you want to learn the sport or improve your existing skills.
Food lovers will be spoilt for choice at the different restaurants in downtown Biarritz, approximately twenty-minute walk away. If you prefer preparing your own meals back at the villa, there is a bakery, green grocers and cheesemonger within a five-minute walk away or head to Les Halles de Biarritz (1.5km), a great market featuring several Basque specialities.
For something a bit different, drive around a quarter of an hour to reach Bayonne (10km). Meander through the town’s winding streets, admiring its stunning ancient architecture and beautiful gardens. The river offers some picturesque scenery, from colourful flowers to the wildlife that make it their home.
When you are not exploring the nearby town, there are a whole host of activities you can get up to.
Practice your swing at various impressive golf courses, go horse-back riding in the beautiful Basque countryside or try out some of the different water-sports available. Whether you are an outdoors person or prefer the soothing sounds of the ocean, this villa has something for everyone.
