And that is why the Villa Destri is the perfect location. The villa itself in an oasis, with traditional Balinese touches including the home itself which is a traditionally inspired family home that is the perfect base for your Balinese adventure.
The house was designed by long-term Bali residents and the local touches are apparent. It’s created in the style of a traditional Balinese compound, which comprised of a series of living areas and sleeping areas.  
As you step into the living spaces everything is made of local materials such as the exotic hardwood floors and coral-limestone walls. The walls are adorned by local artwork and artefacts that add to the Balinese feel. The living and dining pavilion is the social hub of the home, with countless seating options including large sofas to sink into after a long day of relaxing and exploring. There are panoramic ocean views from the second-floor lounge, as well as a day bed for ultimate relaxation
The dining table can seat fourteen guests for massive feasts prepared by the in-house chef! There is also a smaller breakfast table ideal for, well, breakfast! And there is a space at the coconut-shell bar that is perfect for evening cocktails.
There are six-bedrooms at this villa, a master suite, three guest rooms and then two rooms in the Joglo – a private traditional home. The master suite has a stunning four-poster king-size bed and unique artefacts and artwork adorn the walls. An incredible garden bathroom complete with an open-air shower, and a stunning bathtub for two. The three guest bedrooms in the main house also all have four-poster king-size beds, which can be converted to twins, as well as unique en-suites with their own stunning bathing options. The rooms in the Joglo are romantic retreats, with en-suite bathrooms and access to a private kitchen and dining area that sits between the two bedrooms.
The garden truly is an oasis, tall tropical gardens and swaying coconut palms surround the rolling lawns and the smell of frangipani and salt-water fills the air. The 18-metre infinity private pool looks out over the ocean, blending in seamlessly as if you are swimming out into the ocean. There are plenty of vantage points to enjoy the ocean views, and of course the iconic sunsets, such as the outside deck area or the traditional bale, decorated with endless cushions. Bali is a popular after holiday destination for tourists of all ages and from all over the world. The stunning spot is known as the Island of the Gods, largely due to the renowned beaches, stunning landscapes and diverse regions. It is no surprise seeing as there is so much untouched beauty in Bali, with traditional villages, local markets and rich cultural behaviours that can be experienced in any area of the island.
This beautiful villa is located in Pererenan a spot in Canggu, a resort village that lies on the south coast of the island. The area is known for its rice paddies and well-known beaches, such as Canggu, Echo and Batu Bolong, also known as, Old Man’s, which is the busiest of the three beaches. Canggu is a dreamy, quieter oasis compared to the lively, bustling areas of Seminyak and Kuta. It’s a beachside village with quirky, cool hideouts, health-focused eateries and affordable day spas.
The beach is quite literally at your doorstep, so you don’t need to go far to witness stunning sunsets, watch surfers or simply feel the sand between your toes.
Other popular tourist towns are nearby like Seminyak, Ubud and Kuta. All three spots offer unique sights and activities. Seminyak is known for its beach clubs, boutique shops and the iconic Eat Street. Ubud is known for the monkey forest, a must for all visitors but be careful with the monkeys! Kuta is another resort area, this spot is more party-centric with younger tourists often visiting and frequenting the beach clubs.
