Villa Anila is a stunning, majestic home characterised by an infusion of natural light and bright, airy spaces, within a sedate and secluded setting amid the rice fields and coastal breezes of Perenan. There are five spacious bedrooms, all sumptuously finished, with elegant white draped curtains and far reaching views, with quality, crisp bedlinen. Set over three floors, Villa Anila combines luxury and simplicity, blends the indoors with the outdoors, and fuses a hotel like experience with seclusion and privacy.
The living spaces offer large sofas and well selected furnishings, under wonderful full level ceiling, along with intricate hand carvings and wooden artefacts in a nod to traditional Indonesian art and heritage. The kitchen, in keeping with the tone of the villa, offers understated luxury: all the top range appliances are provided, whilst for those who want to sit back and relax, a private chef can be arranged to cook at the villa in any cuisine to suit guests needs. Overlooking the surrounding rice fields, the dining areas are light and breezy with large windows that can be opened to capture the cool evening air. The large dining table can comfortably seat groups of eight or more if required (additional chairs available.)

The temple at Petitenget offers a tranquil oasis behind the glitzy five star appeal of Seminyak. Referred to by locals as “Pura Petitenget,” this centuries old temple is a must-see during the traditional dance rehearsals held regularly by locals in a grand nearby pavilion. The red brick and sandstone architecture add to its ancient appeal. The impressive dragon staircase leads to the temple’s vast courtyard, where a dozen shrines and small pavilions draped in traditional Balinese chequered cloths create a compelling sight. 
Petitenget forms one of the island’s Dang Kahyangan collections of sea temples that spiritually guard the island’s perimeters, initiated by the legendary Hindu priest Dang Hyang Nirartha on his historical mission from neighbouring island Java in the sixteenth century.
