Villa Nimbus Indonesia
Holiday Home Rental Description
This striking villa has been designed in the shape of five graceful cloud-like domes, each with enormous windows to showcase the idyllic Indian ocean views. The stylish, pod-like architecture is reflected in the shimmering turquoise of the outdoor infinity pool, surrounded by a manicured lawn. Take a refreshing dip and soak up the dreamy atmosphere.
Beside the gentle curves of the pool, you’ll find sunbeds and a barbecue zone to rustle up a delicious feast. Modern hexagonal tables make up a communal dining space with views out to the pool and gardens. Take advantage of the fully equipped kitchen or let the villa’s private chef whip up a sumptuous Indonesian or Western meal. Balinese hospitality is legendary!
Moving through the oval glass doors inside the villa, you’ll find a beautifully chilled out living space. Decorated in calming white, grey and earth tones, the room has accents of natural marble and incredible solid wood furniture. Fine art decorations of onyx, fresh flowers and ornate tables adorn the cosy interior. You’re sure to come away inspired by the design of this villa, as it really has been thoughtfully curated with relaxation in mind.
You will find two spacious and minimally designed bedrooms on the ground floor. Ascend the spiral staircase to find a delightfully cosy master bedroom. The supremely comfortable beds are made from ancient petrified wood, and are complete with quirky bedside tables. The fluffy white carpets are divine – you’ll feel like you’re walking on air. There are fantastic views of the Indian ocean from your vantage point in the clouds, particularly at sunset. Before you go to sleep, look up to the awe-inspiring floating lights of hundreds of petals – every detail of this villa is just magical.
Tucked away in Tabanan, a peaceful, secluded area of West Bali, guests can use the villa’s private driver to explore the surrounding area and beyond. The villa is ideal for entertaining, as it can hold up to 50 guests, perfect for a party or small wedding.Villa Nimbus is perfect for those who want to get away from it all, as it’s situated in lovely, tranquil Tabanan. There are plenty of stunning natural attractions nearby, such as the famous Jutilwah rice terraces at the foot of Mount Batakuru. Enjoy the sweeping vistas of lush greenery as you stroll through the fields that were a UNESCO Cultural Heritage Site candidate. Expansive tea plantations dot the landscape – why not take a tour, learn about how it’s produced and of course sample a range of delicious teas.
Hidden away and impossibly beautiful, Blemantung Waterfall is a great spot for a day trip. This 50m-high cascade into a green lake is more under-the-radar than other waterfalls in Bali like Git Git. You might even have it all to yourself if you’re lucky!
The villa is a two-minute walk to Pasut beach, which is famous for its black sand and incredible sunsets. Fringed with palm trees, there’s one particular wonky palm tree on this beach that has become a well-known photo spot. Head to the palm tree forest here for a superb sundowner.Bali is home to many enchanting temples – a nearby wonder is Ulun Danu Bratan, a Hindu temple on the shoreline of Lake Bratan. Historically, worshippers gave offerings to the river goddess Dewi Danu to keep the river thriving for irrigation. Take a boat trip out here and enjoy the serene atmosphere.
From Tabanan, you can take day trips to other hotspots in Bali, such as thriving, upscale Seminyak at the southern tip of the island. There, you’ll find numerous yoga studios and fancy spas to while away an afternoon being pampered. Seminyak is also home to world-class restaurants, hip cafes and fashion boutiques galore. Don’t miss the famous ‘eat street’ here!
Seminyak beach is a magnet for surfers and has an irresistible, relaxed vibe, while Petitenget Beach embodies Balinese spirituality. The centuries-old temple here has twelve shrines and an impressive dragon staircase that leads to an expansive courtyard. Every evening, there are temple ceremonies on the beach and traditional dance displays – a truly mesmerising way to experience the rich culture.
Another atmospheric place to spend some time is Canggu. Lively yet laid back, it’s full of beach clubs and paddy fields. The beaches of Echo and Canggu also have popular surf breaks – you can walk along Seminyak to Canggu, stopping at atmospheric cocktail huts along the way.At Excellence Luxury Villas we pride ourselves on going that little bit further for our guests.
