Tenuta Cona is a sumptuous, elegant estate in the heart of Chianti: a beautiful eighteenth-century villa surrounded by vineyards, olive groves and rolling farmland. This villa is among the most beautiful in central Italy, with an intriguing history, this aesthetically excellent home was protected during wartime bombing by great housing works of art.
Today this classically beautiful villa is subdivided into six apartments, and two villas, ranging from the “Piccolo” apartment which is ideal for a couple, as a romantic hideaway, or a couple with a child, to the stunning Case Villa which accommodates sixteen guests.
The estate comprises a wine tasting barn, as well as its olive oil production; Tenuta Cona offers all the wonders of a private holiday home in the richest and cultured part of Tuscany, whilst providing an array of amenities that come with the more extensive estate complex: cooking classes for groups of four people, dinner on demand by virtue of private chef – trekking, mountain biking or horse-riding, these actives can all be arranged via the villa.

Each of the apartments has its own character and style; finished thoughtfully, with impeccable taste, sympathetic to the original building and architecture, yet offering every modern comfort, from wifi, to coffee machine, to DVD television with satellite and dishwasher, each home is designed for guests every convenience, whilst offering a relaxed and laid back sense of luxury.
Original features such as exposed timber beams, flagstone flooring and original stone, along with a pretty, modern neutral palette of fresh whites, pistachio greens and greys, these homes are home-like while being delightfully elegant, full of original charm and designer flair!

Take the most substantial villa, Villa One, the open plan dining room is set within a beautiful sloping timber ceilinged room, with terracotta tiles on the floor and enormous open stone fireplace, antique timber furnishings jostle alongside the best in Italian designer kitchen appliances, and quality fabrics and soft furnishings. The farmhouse feel is retained, within the spirit of a luxurious holiday home.
Villa Two offers a stunning outdoor dining space, panoramic views in absolute tranquillity, with such pretty floral fabrics and elegant antique furnishings internally, along with a farmhouse style kitchen.

At just one hour’s distance is Arezzo; likewise, Siena is an hour and a half away, while San Gimignano, Volterra, Pisa and Lucca are only two hours away.
For shopping, there is an outlet centre designed to provide visitors with luxury products which are the best of Italian and international brands.
The region is known for its rich culinary heritage, including truffles, cured meats and traditional sweets and pastries.
