Passignano Sul Trasimeno is an alluring commune on the edge of Lake Trasimeno, where you’ll find sandy beaches backed by white-washed buildings. You can also drive to the picturesque village of San Feliciano and get a ferry over to the Isola Polvese. History lovers will love the hilltop towns of Cortona and Assisi, as well as the town of Pienza – each filled with historical buildings and archaeological sites.La Rustichella is situated on top of a charming hill near one of the main holiday areas of Lake Trasimeno. There are lots of eateries and bars to choose from, where you can try some local cuisine cooked by passionate chefs. The nearest restaurant and bar are just a short drive away, and if you fancy a night in, the supermarket is also within driving distance.   Lake Trasimeno is a breathtakingly-beautiful place dotted with quaint little islands. The Isola Maggiore has several different trails to choose from and a historic castle. Passignano Sul Trasimeno is a picturesque commune that sits on the edge of the lake, with sandy beaches and white-washed towns. From here, you can take a ferry across the sparkling blue water to reach the Isola Polvese, an island made up of olive groves and a wonderful monastery. With cute little Medieval villages, crumbling towers and Renaissance churches, this lake is more than just a stunning pool of water.     Other activities in the area include the relaxing thermal baths at Chianciano, a nine-hole golf course and at Passignano you can go water skiing, windsurfing and sailing.
