The outdoor area creates the perfect holiday setting, so as soon as you arrive, you can sit down in the sunshine and settle into the Spanish vibes, maybe enjoying a bottle of local wine late into the evening! With a lush garden, elegantly covered cabana and the glistening private swimming pool, there is room for everyone to spread out and enjoy the outdoors throughout the day. The terrace boasts luxurious sun loungers where you can sit back and finish off your favourite book or keep an eye on kids splashing in the pool! With space to dine al-fresco, why not spend an evening grilling some fresh fish on the barbecue and eating outdoors in the glorious Spanish climate?
The front door opens out into a grand entrance, with high ceilings and direct views through to the living room, creating an easy flow to space. The kitchen is open-plan so that you can cook to your heart’s content, with the rest of the group gathered around. There are a dining area and a spacious living room, making it easy to spend quality time together as a group. There are three double bedrooms in the villa, as well as two further twin bedrooms.
The highlight at Villa Kalua has to be the private spa, nestled onto the lower ground floor. There are a luxurious jacuzzi, steam room and a heated swimming pool so that you can take a dip all year around. Each corner you turn in this special property feels like a real treat; there is an atmosphere of calm and elegance, combined with a homely feel, creating the perfect holiday base.Villa Kalua is located in Cortijo Blanco, San Pedro de Alcantara, just 200 metres from the beach as well as walking distance to shops, restaurants, cafe’s and supermarket. The villa is only a short walk from the centre of Puerto Banus
Just a short drive away is Puerto Banus, brimming with luxury brand boutiques, markets, restaurants, clubs and bars and of course a beautiful harbour for you to explore.
Meanwhile, nearby Marbella is a little bigger and busier, with a traditional and beautiful old town, and holds many Michelin starred restaurants and world-renowned beaches where one can soak up the sun and enjoy a cocktail at a beachfront bar! It has a vibrant history, visible in the many ruins throughout the winding cobbled streets of its Old Town.
Malaga, the largest city on the Costa del Sol, is also nearby, and is historically and culturally incredibly rich, putting even more activities and amenities at your fingertips. As the birthplace of Pablo Picasso, the city is, of course, brimming with museums and art galleries, set among a beautiful cityscape of castles, cathedrals and theatres.
The Costa del Sol itself is mainly peaceful and quiet, as although there is a large amount of tourism, mostly for the fantastic beaches and warm climate (the average water temperature year-round is 18°C!), visitors tend to stick to the highly developed and bustling south-western part, leaving the stunning mountains inland largely untouched and peaceful year-round.
The region of Andalucía is culturally diverse and has a perfectly varied landscape, where picturesque beaches, ancient cities and deserts meet the incredible Sierra Nevada mountain range, which includes both the most southerly ski resort in Europe and the highest point of continental Europe!
