This luxurious six-bedroom villa set in the foothills of Marbella’s La Concha Mountain in Cascada de Camojan is an impressive and contemporary home.  Designed with elegance and precision, the whitewashed walls and swathes of natural light make the indoor space a thoroughly attractive affair. The lounge on the ground floor is the perfect place to unwind. Cream sofas and massive glass doors open out onto a glorious terrace that overlooks a lush garden and the Mediterranean Sea. Homely touches include pots filled with huge plants, ambient lighting and artwork on the walls. From the lounge, rustic marble flooring sweeps through to the thoroughly modern kitchen that opens onto a casual breakfast table. But for more formal entertaining there’s a separate dining room where you can enjoy a meal at the table that seats eight people. Also on this floor, you’ll find a children’s playroom, an en suite bedroom and office space.
From the ground floor, a majestic staircase spirals up to the first floor where the five remaining bedrooms are located. The bedrooms, with their neutral tones and whitest of linen, all have fabulous en-suite bathrooms, private balconies and stunning views. The master bedroom also has an enormous walk-in wardrobe so there’s plenty of space to put your things. The bedrooms are wonderfully soothing but if you’re in the mood for evening activity head to the lower level where you can curl up with your favourite film in the home cinema room or socialise in the bar and games room. The more energetic can work up a sweat in the well-equipped gym then unwind in the indoor pool, Turkish bath, sauna and cold plunge pool.
Outside, the beautiful garden is a serene space with its manicured lawns, sea views and cascading waterfall. Sit on the terrace and listen to the palm trees rustling in the breeze or absorb the peaceful surroundings from one of the two swimming pools. The separate guest apartment is also perfect if you want to invite extra friends or staff.
The casa is a tonic for the senses and offers privacy and tranquillity yet is still close to amenities. Just 10-minutes drive away is Marbella town with its shops, restaurants and golden, sandy beaches.Cascada de Camojan is a gated residence and one of the most exclusive areas on the Costa del Sol. It offers guests complete privacy and superb security. Overlooked by Marbella’s iconic La Concha Mountain and surrounded by woodland and panoramic sea views, it’s a serene and tranquil place to live. Walk through the forested areas with their beautiful waterfalls (cascadas) and breathe in the scent of pine drifting across the hills. The vistas here are stunning with far-reaching views of the Mediterranean Sea and African coastline.
There are plenty of nearby golf courses but closest to the property is Monte Paraíso Golf. Less than 5-minutes drive away, lovers of the game can enjoy practising their handicap on this short but challenging 9-hole course that meanders through mountains and lakes.
A great advantage of Cascada de Camojan is that it benefits from being close to both countryside and the sea. The golden beaches of Marbella are within a 10-minute drive and are perfect spots for a day out. Playa de la Bajadilla and Playa de Venus are both centrally located while a little further west is the 1km long Playa de la Fontanilla. Alternatively, hop aboard a yacht or catamaran and enjoy a day on the water. After a day at the beach, shake the sand from your feet and step onto the promenade where you can enjoy a bite to eat at one of the many gourmet restaurants. While the promenade is glitzy and glamorous, the old town set back from the seafront offers a more authentic Andalusian experience with plenty of authentic tapas bars. It’s a charming place to stroll with cobbled streets, flower-covered balconies and historical buildings. Be sure to also stop at the Museum for Contemporary Spanish Engravings and admire the works of Miro, Dali and Picasso. 
While Marbella, and close neighbour Puerto Banus are famous for their luxury marinas, designer boutiques and popular nightclubs Marbella itself dates back to Roman times, and archaeological remains can still be seen. In Puerto Banus visit the ruins of a Roman Villa while head 10 minutes west by car to San Pedro, and you can explore a sixth-century Christian basilica and a Roman bathhouse.At Excellence Luxury Villas we pride ourselves on going that little bit further for our guests.
