Vila Kacic Miosic is a luxurious property located a short distance from the old town of Makarska. Built in a Dalmatian style with a stone façade, the building offers a romantic, charming ambience as you approach.
As soon as you enter the villa, is offers a wonderful, homely atmosphere that you can straight-away settle into. The carefully designed interiors are fresh and stylish, yet maintain a cosy, relaxed feel, with a fireplace in the living room, exposed stone walls and beams, it is impossible not to relax! In total, the villa can accommodate six to eight guests, making it ideal for larger families or groups of friends. Spread over two spacious floors and a gallery, there is ample space to spread out. The ground floor boasts the wonderful living room, with an atmospheric fireplace perfect for warming you up should you visit in the winter months. Open-plan to this is a large family sized dining table where you can all eat together. Vila Kacic Miosic’s kitchen is fully equipped for your use should you decide to cook meals in the villa. The first floor boasts two comfortable bedrooms, one bathroom and the terrace with fantastic sea views. On the gallery you will find another bedroom with a double bed and a sofa which can be used as a sleeping-sofa for two guests. With all the rooms fully air-conditioned and under floor heating available, the villa offers comfort for all seasons.
The garden outside is beautifully landscaped, with Mediterranean plants, olive trees and palm trees, the property is surrounded by cascading walls and offers complete privacy and security to you and your family. A heated private pool awaits you on the terrace. There is also a covered seating and barbecue area for you to relax in, sunbeds where you can finish the final pages of your favourite book and the star of the show; unbeatable and breath-taking views to the open-sea and the islands of Brac and Hvar.Although a lot of people jump straight on a ferry to stay on the Croatian Islands in this area, the mainland coast also offers some of the most beautiful areas, such as the lovely town of Makarska.
Through summer Makarska’s main square is filled with open-air restaurants and cafés, while behind the church, in the shade, the daily open-air market sells fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables. Along the harbour, overlooked by a string of cafés and pizzeria, wooden excursion boats offer one-day trips to Jelsa on Hvar and Zlatni Rat beach in Bol on Brac.
But the main draw here is the beaches, backed by fragrant pinewoods overlooking the glistening turquoise sea. Makarska’s town beach is a long curving stretch of pebble, behind which runs a shady palm-lined promenade with several big hotels interspersed by cafés, restaurants and ice cream parlours.
