Villa Lorel is a modern, bright villa, with spacious open-plan living spaces ideal for group holidays. Located in the heart of beautiful Makarska in Dalmatia, this Villa presents the perfect base for a relaxed holiday away in stunning surroundings. Comfortable sleeping eight guests, this is a great family property, with plenty of space for everyone to spread out whilst also offering sociable spaces to spend time together.
Spread over two storeys, Villa Lorel boasts open living spaces on the ground floor. A modern, well-equipped kitchen, sofa area and dining table fill the space. With contemporary furnishings throughout and large, floor to ceiling glass doors leading out to the terrace, this space is ideal for entertaining. You can move between the indoor and outdoor areas with ease, making the most of sunny days in Croatia! Through the property you will find four, good sized double bedrooms and four bathrooms. Two of the rooms on the first floor, open onto the spectacular balcony with views across the countryside and to the ocean.
Outside, it is the views that steal the show. Behind the villa there are beautiful, luscious mountains, and in front wonderful sea views. From whichever angle you look it is hard to be disappointed. You can spend your days, lazing in the pool, gazing out towards the horizon, or finishing your favourite book on one of the comfortable sun loungers. An outdoor barbecue and dining area is available for your use, ideal for al-fresco living. Whether you are enjoying breakfast by the swimming pool or a glass of wine on the balcony, Villa Lorel offers countless moment of peace and tranquillity, an ideal holiday home away.
Although a lot of people jump straight on a ferry to stay on the Croatian islands in this area, the mainland coast also offers some of the most beautiful areas, such as the lovely town of Makarska.
Through summer Makarska’s main square is filled with open-air restaurants and cafés, while behind the church, in the shade, the daily open-air market sells fresh seasonal fruit and vegetables. Along the harbour, overlooked by a string of cafés and pizzeria, wooden excursion boats offer one-day trips to Jelsa on Hvar and Zlatni Rat beach in Bol on Brac.
But the main draw here is the beaches, backed by fragrant pinewoods overlooking the glistening turquoise sea. Makarska’s town beach is a long curving stretch of pebble, behind which runs a shady palm-lined promenade with several big hotels interspersed by cafés, restaurants and ice cream parlours. There are peddle-boats, banana rides and jet skis for hire, so it’s great for families but not particularly restful.
