Milna is a lovely location. It is really quite romantic with pretty marinas and gorgeous stone houses. The wonderful Baroque church enjoys a delightful Dalmatian bell tower as well as impressive Venetian works of art. You can walk from the villa to some of Milna’s restaurants which serve delicious food with local olive oils and wines. For years Milna was known for its shipbuilding and the the famous Dalmatian boat ‘bracera’ was made first there. For those that enjoy maritime sports, Milna is a brilliant place to stay as there are lots of opportunities to fish, sail or dive. There are also many boat trips to explore this wonderful island. Visitors love exploring the nearby coves of Lucice, Osibova, the Bobovisca harbour and the tiny island of Mrdulja located at the entrance to the harbour.
The village of Lozisca is situated on a steep stone glade just 2km from the sea. It is a lovely village to visit. The bell tower of the St John and Paul Church is one of the most beautiful on all of the Croatian islands and the stone houses with slate roofs and steep cobbled streets make it very attractive.
Not far from Milna is the charming village of Sutivan, a small, tranquil village boasting beautiful beaches, a number of wonderful restaurants and some shops. Sutivan’s pretty promenade runs from the little harbour Lucica to the bays of Likve, Prubuje, Stinive, Stipanske, Male Tihe and the Vicja Luka harbour. Sutivan is surrounded by fabulous olive groves, vineyards, mandarin fields and forests. Jakov Natalis-Bozicevic is a stunning building built in 1505 and the 17th century castle Kastil Marijanovic stands proud on the eastern part of the harbour. The summer cottage of Kavanjin was built between 1690 and 1705 with a pretty baroque garden. The park is lovely with a small zoo as well as bowling, basketball, football and a small playground.
Supetar is in the centre of Brac, on the northern coast opposite Split. The majority of ferries and speed boats that connect Brac to the mainland dock in Supertar. The town offers natural beauty, beautiful beaches surrounded by pine forests and some very interesting buildings and monuments including the Leroj clock tower, the neo-byznatine mausoleum of the family Petrinovic, the Ivan Rendic Gallery, Mother Theresa’s sculpture, St Viktor’s sculpure and early Christian mosaics from the 6th century close to the ancient church.
Brac is famous for its astounding and mesmerizing Zlatni Rat beach at Bol. Thanks to its particular shape, it one of the most exceptional beaches in the world. Zlatni Rat’s elegance and appeal have made it the symbol of both the town of Bol and Croatia. The beach is protected by the government of Croatia as a geo-morphological monument.
Brac is also famous for it’s very attractive, white stone which was used to build the famous White House in Washington. Other treats the island has in store are its  ‘buhavica’ olive oil, cheese, wine, honey and wine. The Stina Winery on the waterfront at Bol is lovely and the Prosec, a little like Australian muscat, is delicious.
