The open-plan space comprises a kitchen which stretches along one of the walls, with an accompanying dining area by the log-burner and right before an immense stretch of garden doors, where you can create and enjoy delicious meals with some of the finest sea, island and forest views. And completing the room is a super cosy corner of sofas ideal for socialising, or simply a little relaxation in front of the wall-mounted TV. This fantastic sofa even transforms into a bed, great for squeezing in extra guests.
The first double bedroom leads directly off from these shared social areas, ideal for the guests that simply love to be in the thick of the action. There are three more bedrooms, including two more doubles and a lovely twin room, all of which continue this lovely traditional theme with wooden furniture and elegant décor throughout. One of the doubles also benefits from direct access to the terrace, putting the sunshine and sea-breeze just seconds away. Two bathrooms accompany the bedrooms, one of which features a fantastic oversized bathtub, so you can enjoy a long, rejuvenating soak after a day of adventure across these superb surroundings.
Out in your enchanting Mediterranean garden, you’re invited into the refreshing depths of your fantastic private pool from which you can enjoy views right across the stunning islands of Brac and Hvar. Less than 10 minutes away from the dazzling beach in Baška Voda, you’ll find fun and adventure for the whole group. The village of Baška Voda is a calm haven along this picturesque coastline, while you’re only 20 minutes from the magical town of Makarska and ­­­­exactly 1 hour from Split, with its famous Diocletian’s Palace, the fortress-like complex at its centre, built in the 4th century!Villa Ance is perfectly located just 4km from the breath-taking beach of Baška Voda, and only 15 minutes from the charming traditional port town of Makarska. Lined by fragrant pinewoods, this famous coastline boasts some of the most beautiful beaches in Europe, with a palm-lined promenade framing the turquoise expanse beautifully.
Makarska is a quaint, charming and traditional town bursting with life in the summer months – with pavement cafes and restaurants about and a wondrous church at the heart of it. Markets selling everything from fresh produce, including seasonal fruit and vegetables, to local wares, line the streets and the beautiful harbour, from where you can take trips out to the many surrounding islands, including the famous Hvar and Brac.
The area offers the perfect rural retreat for the utmost relaxation, but if it’s entertainment you’re after, the Omiš and Cetina river offers a fabulous range of activities including rafting, a zip-line, boat tours and even day trips to Brač island.
Active holiday-makers will be delighted with the offerings, including windsurfing, scuba diving, rock climbing, hang-gliding, and walking. Both along the dramatic coastal paths and in the mountains inland, you will find an abundance of pristine paths for cycling and rugged off-road hiking trails.
