An outdoor television space, modern barbecue, outdoor fireplace and an array of choices for outdoor dining make outdoor living a stylish affair.
Taking guests breath away at every turn, there’s a games room with pool table and bar, the baths are inset at floor level. The glamorous roof terrace is the finishing touch to this dazzling home, with far-reaching sea views it finishes this home off with a majestic flourish!Villa Antal is nestled in the hamlet Sveti Petar 5km from the centre of Ičići and the sea on the Kvarner Bay. Ičići is in the northeast of Istria, close to the base of the Ucka mountain and the Ucka National Park, just north of the beautiful Moscenika Draga region.
Northern Istria is known for having a strong Italian flavour, sumptuous seafood, small-town charm and stunning coastal scenery, whilst the Istrian Riviera, on the northeast coast is a history-rich region which formerly drew the Austrian-Hungarian elite. Istria boasts arguably three of Croatia’s prettiest towns, Rovinj with its romantic harbour, Opatija with its old-world glamour and Pula with its magnificent Roman amphitheatre.
Opatija (9km further north) is known for its elegant style and beautiful sea views – the riviera as it is known as. The ‘lungomare’ is the 12-km seaside promenade, constructed in 1889, which stretches all the way to Lovran, winding its way past the belle-epoque villas that are reminiscent of the town’s glamorous credentials as a destination for the jet-set.
Ucka Nature Park is a hidden gem, and at 160km² of mountains and green open plateaux it is a beautifully remote spot of Croatia; on clear days, Vojak (1401m), its highest peak, offers sublime views of the Italian Alps and the Bay of Trieste. Moscenicka Draga is a small, coastal town just south of the Ucka national park, known for its beautiful pebble beach and serene surroundings
Bresec (about half an hour further south on the coast) is a pretty medieval town with a striking 2km long pebble beach. A walk up to the 15th-century church of St. Magdalena, which is famous for its frescos, will reward visitors with stunning views of the surrounding area, the town’s charming harbour and islands.
Awash with history and fresh, affordable cuisine, Pula, the capital of Istria, boasts stretches of glittering Adriatic coastland and the most complete Roman colosseum in the world. It is known for its charming seaside atmosphere and elegant Italian architecture along with bustling markets. Summertime brings a lively blend of music events, open-air theatre and festivals with a colourful display of local life.
