Villa Bernarda presents a perfect balance between homely and elegant. Its traditional stone structure speaks to the home’s heritage, and its red-tiled roof stands out vividly against the mesmerising blues of the sea! While the exterior boasts the exposed stones of the building highlighting its rustic charm, indoors the villa has been finished with homely, contemporary designs to ensure you feel at ease throughout your stay! Put your feet up and have a wonderful evening together, thanks to the open-plan living and dining area. The plump sofas and silky soft rugs ensure everyone can cuddle up or stretch out and the inclusion of televisions and DVD players means you can immerse yourself into films to unwind after a day of adventure. Compliment your relaxation with drinks and snacks that can be easily grabbed from the kitchen. Fully-equipped, you can make anything from coffees and cocktails to full-blown spreads to serve on the chic dining table in this area, with seating for the villa’s capacity of ten guests!
Between eight to ten guests are accommodated across four bedrooms of the two levels in this villa. Relax in the luxury of double beds in each bedroom and air-conditioning to make sure settings are just right. Downstairs, the only bedroom on this floor offers instant access to the outdoor terrace as well as a handy en-suite bathroom. Upstairs, two of the three double rooms on this level share use of a family bathroom with the final room benefiting from en-suite facilities. The cherry-on-top on this floor is the outdoor terrace, blessed with an outdoor dining table and seats. The view of the mighty mountains and the vast sea is jaw-dropping so enjoy meals or your morning or evening brews here!
Outdoors, unwind on sun loungers or chic seats, such as the hanging chairs with scents of the greenery, including olive trees, delighting your senses. From your northwestern location on the shores of the Adriatic, you are free to access its shores with ease. You will be pleased to know that a gentle stroll from the villa along a narrow, tree-lined path will see you reach two beaches. Both offer isolation and serenity, so you can have a day full of divine relaxation, gazing across the remarkable blues of the sea! For more built-up beaches where you can grab food and drink, hire sun loungers and parasols or hit up shops, Hvar offers seafront spots on both its island and islands nearby. Take a trip to Paklinski islands and kick back on Palmižana Beach. The smells of rosemary and pine will captivate the senses and the seas here as beautifully blue as most of the other beach waters in this spectacular region. Hire a kayak and explore the nooks and coastal lines across this beautifully shaped island. Head down to Stari Grad and relax on sandy beaches before heading into the town.
Stari Grad, the oldest town in Croatia and one of the earliest in Europe makes for a great day out and sits under fifteen minutes from the comfort of the villa. Here, you can explore the old narrow streets of the old town, as well as visit bays and harbours where history, sites and food greet you at every corner!
