Tucked just a short drive from the enchanting, historical port town of Makarska, Villa Elenka is a contemporary beauty on the hillside with breath-taking sea-views!
The interiors are wonderfully open-plan, putting the immense kitchen, formal dining and casual seating areas all side-by-side for a gorgeous, sociable atmosphere. You can enjoy cooking up an absolute storm in this magnificent, modern kitchen, complete with a breakfast bar! Gather the whole group on the cosy L-shaped sofa in front of the satellite TV and enjoy special, social time together. This deluxe area is also flooded with natural light from the vast patio doors along the far wall, from which you can immediately access your wonderful garden.
There are three luxurious bedrooms to choose from, each with a unique design and absolute comfort. The first is fabulously stylish, with a large double bed set beneath a dazzling seascape image, with a huge balcony beyond these large French doors. The second bedroom mirrors this, with the same brilliant balcony access and a matching exquisite ensuite bathroom, while there is a third double room on the ground floor with the same stunning designs, décor and large double bed. Finally, there is a single bedroom, and one final bathroom shared between these two rooms. All three double rooms enjoy a large, wall-mounted TV should you seek a little private relaxation and light entertainment.
Head out to this stunning garden where your vast swimming pool stretches the width of it, looking out over the tops of the flourishing trees below. Settle into a lounger by the pool and enjoy a day of soaking up the sunshine, enjoying the tranquillity of this hillside location and the company of friends and family. Beside the loungers on this lovely terrace, there is also a casual seating area, so you can really get cosy and comfortable and while away many an hour chatting and putting your feet up.
In the local area, you can enjoy beautiful walks around Biokovo mountain, with the town of Makarska just a 10-minute drive away, as well as the beauty and elegance of the Dalmatian coast, putting fun and adventure just a stone’s throw away. The local area is abounding with unspoilt nature, beautiful forests and impressive coastlines, of both the mainland and some of the 3000+ islands of the archipelago! You’re also just over an hour from Split. Nestled high above the magical, authentic town of Makarska, Villa Elenka is perfectly positioned for exploring both the mainland and islands of this beautiful country! Lined by fragrant pinewoods, this famous coastline boasts some of the most beautiful beaches in Europe, with a palm-lined promenade framing the turquoise expanse beautifully.
Quaint and charming, Makarska is a traditional town bursting with life in the summer months – with pavement cafes and restaurants about and a wondrous church at the heart of it. Markets selling everything from fresh produce, including seasonal fruit and vegetables, to local wares, line the streets and the beautiful harbour, from where you can take trips out to the many surrounding islands, including the famous Hvar and Brac.
From breath-taking scenery, a rich history and culture and a world-famous culinary scene – you will find it all in Croatia! The area offers the perfect rural retreat for the utmost relaxation, but if it’s entertainment you’re after, the Omiš and Cetina river offers a fabulous range of activities including rafting, a zip-line, boat tours and even day trips to Brač island.
Active holiday-makers will be delighted with the offerings, including windsurfing, scuba diving, rock climbing, hang-gliding, and walking. Both along the dramatic coastal paths and in the mountains inland, you will find an abundance of pristine paths for cycling and rugged off-road hiking trails.
