With a beautiful location looking out to sea on Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast, this villa is 3km from the centre of the stunning resort of Makarska. Up to 10 guests can enjoy the use of its swimming pool, gym and sauna, among many other impressive features.
A spacious terrace area surrounds the swimming pool, with dining table and chairs, sun loungers and lots of seating, from where you can make the most of the incredible view of the Adriatic. A large barbecue is just a few feet from the poolside, so you can get everyone together for drinks and nibbles as the sun sets – it should be quite a spectacular experience.
The villa has an impressive kitchen and dining space inside too, with everything from a fridge freezer and dishwasher to a kettle, toaster and coffee machine. There is direct access to the terrace from this area, which also includes a comfy seating area with satellite TV.
Five double bedrooms all have balconies and air-conditioning, and six modern bathrooms all provide showers. One room also includes the luxury of a sauna cabin, along with a shower and gym equipment, so you can work out hard knowing there’s a soothing treat ahead of you.

The presence of Mount Biokovo is more than a scenic one; it also ensures that the climate of Makarska remains reliably hospitable. Mild in winter and warm in summer, Makarska enjoys more than 2750 hours of sun each year – although the 2000m high peaks of Biokovo present a snowy contrast.
Exploring the mountainous areas is one of the pleasures of Makarska, exposing you to a variety of plant and animal species as you go. Among the sights worth seeking out are the holy shrine of Vepric at the foot of the hills, and Kotišina botanical garden.
Cafés and bars line up alongside the harbour and in Makarska’s Kačić square, and the town’s status as an essential tourist destination means there’s no shortage of fine restaurants to try. Innovative local specialities and excellent Croatian wines make it an experience to be savoured, and the welcome is likely to be a warm one. The nightlife is relaxed and friendly, and you shouldn’t have trouble finding somewhere to continue the fun late into the evening.
There is plenty to keep the children entertained too, including the new observatory and Astro Park, which adults may enjoy as well.
