From Kut, the oldest and prettiest part of Vis, it is a simple twenty-minute stroll around the harbour to the centre of Vis where local trades flourish, simple tavernas offer the grilled catch of the day, and a myriad of alleyways will provide a fabulous afternoon’s exploration.
Constructed by the Venetians in the seventeenth century, Kut is a series of courtyards and passageways in limestone, with ornate balconies and secret twists and turns. With crystal clear waters and an array of seafood and Italian-influenced restaurants, dining out will be a delight!
A fifteen-minute drive from Vis town will take visitors to the sister hotspot of Komiža.
