When you arrive, the villa greets you with luscious views across the surrounding landscape, with green trees, plants and shrubs rising up around every corner of the terrace and the clear blue sky shooting up above. The pathway to the villa is framed by a garden full of flowers, colourful vegetation and bio vegetables, adding to the already warm and welcoming atmosphere.
From the terrace you can enter the main living area, arranged in a modern, open-plan layout, with contemporary lighting creating a definition between each space. The lounge boasts comfy yellow sofas, with their vivid colour, a mix of indoor plants and the natural light from the terrace making this entire space feel bright and airy. A partial wall divides this cosy living space from the dining area, where a large wooden table stretches out, with six luxury dining chairs ready and waiting for social evening meals, chatting and laughing together as a group! The rest of the room boasts the fully-equipped kitchen, offering plenty of space to cook delicious group meals, best when combined with the barbecue on the terrace!
The three spacious bedrooms are spread over the villa’s two floors, with one double room on the ground floor and two upstairs, all boasting their own en-suite bathrooms. The two upstairs rooms have plenty of space for you to enjoy time alone or as a couple, with sofas in each room where you can sit back, reading books and relaxing. 
Outside, the terrace is spacious, with room for everyone to spread out and relax, enjoying time together and alone. The pool and attached jacuzzi are at the centre of the terrace, with the sparkling water creating an ease to the space. Around the pool there are luxury sun loungers, a spacious dining area and a beautiful summer kitchen with a built-in stone barbecue.
Villa Laima offers you the pleasure of staying on the stunning island of Šolta. The island sits in the central Dalmatian archipelago, west of the island of Brač, south of Split and east of the Drvenik islands, offering you an idyllic base to explore all of these beautiful areas. When you arrive, you will take the ferry from Spit, arriving into the harbour at Rogac, a small and pretty town with small shops and eateries as well as a myriad of sailing boats. 
Only 19km long and 5km wide, Šolta is ideal for those looking to enjoy a slower pace of life, away from the main tourist hubs of Croatia! In fact this picturesque island used to be considered a summer getaway for the Roman citizens of Salona. The island is hilly, with steep shores dropping dramatically into the blue azure of the Adriatic Sea. The coastline is dotted with sheltered coves where you can snorkel and swim, spending sunny days under the sun and soaking in the tranquil atmosphere of this island setting. Šolta has long been known for its honey produce, with the islands landscape and carpet of macchia, herbs and shrubs making it perfect for beekeeping, so make sure you try some during your stay or buy some as gifts to take home! The island is also very popular with boaters, with the chance to hire boats at the harbour, heading out around the island and surrounding islands as well, to explore all the mysteries of their breath-taking coastlines.
Šolta is located just a short ferry ride from Split, where you must visit during your stay. You can spend the day visiting Diocletian’s Palace, Saint Domnius Cathedral and the Mestrovic Gallery. After, you can wander along Bacvice Beach, soaking in the stunning views, before stopping to eat in the local restaurants and drink a cocktail in a historic bar. After the tranquillity of Šolta, the lively streets of Split tend to be a welcome change, perfect for an afternoon and evening of shopping, eating and exploring the fascinating history of this beautiful city.
