Minimalist charm permeates these interiors, with simple artwork adorning the walls, neutral tones and an enchanting open-plan design. Your kitchen extends along one wall, with sparkling white fittings, all the latest mod cons and everything you could need to whip up a treat. A dining table alongside this is perfectly positioned to enjoy the views out across the set of patio doors beside it, extending all the way to the sea and islands in the distance! The living area is to the other side of the dining area, with a large L-shaped sofa in front of a wall-mounted TV.
There are three superb bedrooms, all with king-size beds and similar sumptuous designs of soft greys, beige and white. There is air conditioning in each, and even a wall-mounted TV in two for enjoying a little down-time in the privacy of your own room. Each bedroom is accompanied by a lovely bathroom, in which a range of walk-in showers and fine fittings is tucked among elegant designs, promising comfort and contentment throughout your stay, including the utmost privacy.
Out in this expansive garden, you can enjoy full days of sunbathing, socialising and swimming, while there’s even a play area for the youngsters! Fire up the brick barbeque and dine in style at this stunning alfresco table while admiring the twinkling lights across your private pool. The heated pool itself is the perfect place to spend your days idly dipping your toes and diving to its refreshing depths to cool off in the heat. With loungers all alongside the pool, you have the perfect spot to sunbathe and socialise in comfort! On the first floor terrace, there’s a second casual seating area from which you can enjoy the best views in the whole villa – stretching for miles across the sea!
Nearby Split, just 14km away, is one of the most fascinating cities in the country, with the 4th century Diocletian’s Palace forming its heart, plus a thriving culture and all kinds of entertainment. Stroll along its magnificent promenade by night or catch a boat from the countless companies that line it by day, taking trips to various nearby islands. There’s a huge ferry port just a short walk to the south from which you can catch a ferry to get out and explore this enchanting country! Tucked just a few minutes’ walk from the incredible coast in the quaint neighbourhood of Kaštel Sućurac, and only 20 minutes from Split, Villa Ljubica is perfectly located to enjoy the highlights of a holiday in Croatia.
Split itself is a vibrant and exciting city, absolutely flourishing with activity both day and night. Enjoy a stroll through the many independent shops, cafes and restaurants in the day time, and be sure to return in the evening, when the winding streets and narrow avenues come alive with music and chatter! The bars come in all shapes and sizes and can be found tucked away among the trees, through secret doorways and hidden in tiny passageways. Diocletian’s Palace, the true heart of Split, is a fantastically preserved Roman monument with UNESCO World Heritage Site status and is less than 14km away! 
For a little nature, be sure to visit the Krka National Park, only about an hour’s drive away, and if you have the time – the Plitviče Lakes National Park, about two and a half hours away, is a haven of sparkling turquoise lakes joined across 16 terraces by powerful, beautiful waterfalls. And for a sunny day out on the water, take a ferry from the palm-tree-lined promenade to one of the thousands of islands of the Adriatic Sea, many just a few minutes’ ride away!Just less than half an hour away is the Marjan hill, a beautifully peaceful spot above the city of Split, where you can enjoy stunning views and a tranquil walk through the forested hillside. Indeed, from breath-taking scenery, a rich history and culture and a world-famous culinary scene – you will find it all in Croatia! A myriad of enchanting towns and villages, rich in history and culture, are nestled among the undulating countryside.
From both Split itself and the sublime landscapes which surround it in every direction, active holiday-makers will be delighted with the offerings, including windsurfing, scuba diving, rock climbing, hang-gliding and walking. Both along the dramatic coastal paths and in the mountains inland, you will find an abundance of pristine paths for cycling and rugged off-road hiking trails.
Split also has an international airport, within just 15 minutes of the villa, while the city also has an excellently well-connected ferry port.
