Nestled on the hillside overlooking the beautiful village of Tučepi, Villa Lombardi is a unique and extraordinary property with panoramic views across the sea, islands and mountains!
This is truly the home of choice, with two entirely separate accommodations. On the enchanting ground floor, there is the first set of living spaces, including a living room, dining room and kitchen, all in a wonderfully traditional style, including wooden beams across the ceiling and all wooden furniture. Meanwhile, there is a second living room and open-plan kitchen and dining area on the first floor in a luxuriously modern design, with sleek white surfaces and a totally monochrome design contrasting beautifully with those downstairs. This set-up ensures you can enjoy entirely private living spaces yet come together to share this sublime garden. Indeed, from the ground floor, you can access this vast 80m2 terrace!
The first two bedrooms are on this ground floor, including one double and a twin, while the final double room on is on the first floor. As with the shared living spaces, the ground-floor rooms are wonderfully traditional, with an elegant charm in its cream surfaces, wooden bed frames and furniture and elegant white drapes. Meanwhile, the upstairs double room is enormous, with soft blue colours complementing the striking white walls and furniture, with a full wall of mirrors. Direct garden access from both double rooms puts the sunshine and sea-views just seconds away! There is a bathroom to accompany each bedroom, providing an elegant space in which to ensure an invigorating rain-shower in these immense walk-in showers.
And finally, head out into this magical garden where a 6.7 by 3.8 metre pool invites you to take a refreshing dip as you gaze out over the sea and mountains in the distance. Spend the day idling between this stunning pool and a cosy lounger, rinsing off under this lovely outdoor shower in between dips, then spend the evening sipping a drink as you watch the sunset behind the mountains in the distance, and the bright orange and red twinkling across the Adriatic. There’s cosy seating right beside the pool for casual relaxation and socialising, or you can sit out on the first-floor balcony instead for a little private enjoyment.
You’re around a thirty-minute walk from Plaža Lučica beach – a beautiful spot for enjoying the sunset, with a gorgeous promenade and the impressive mountains as a stunning backdrop! The quaint town of Makarska, about 10 minutes away, is a calm haven along this picturesque coastline, while you’re only about 68km from Split, with its famous Diocletian’s Palace, the fortress-like complex at its centre!Nestled high in the hills in Tučepi, at the heart of the Makarska Riviera, Villa Lombardi is perfectly positioned for exploring both the mainland and islands of this beautiful country! You also happen to be right next to the fabulous Tučepi zipline, a 700m descent over the tree-tops, with views out across the sea!
Located just 6km from the town of Makarska, you’re less than 10 minutes from all kinds of restaurants, cafes, shops and the delightful sandy beach and cultural sights of the town. The area offers the perfect rural retreat for the utmost relaxation, but if it’s entertainment you’re after, the Omiš and Cetina river offers a fabulous range of activities including rafting, boat tours and day trips to Brač island.
From breathtaking scenery, a rich history and culture and a world-famous culinary scene – you will find it all in Croatia! A myriad of enchanting towns and villages are nestled among the undulating countryside of the interior, and if you take a boat trip through the 3000+ islands you’ll see traditional buildings dotting the coastline of each!
Active holiday-makers will be delighted with the offerings, including windsurfing, scuba diving, rock climbing, hang-gliding and walking. Both along the dramatic coastal paths and in the mountains inland, you will find an abundance of pristine paths for cycling and rugged off-road hiking trails.
