You’ll find Villa Lora in a pleasant hillside residential area just 500m from Trogir. The house benefits from stunning views out across terracotta rooftops and beyond to sparkling seas and rolling hills.
Set up camp on a sunbed and watch as the sky shines a brilliant blue during the day before eye-watering sunsets make way for dusty pinks and purples at dusk.
An al fresco dining area looks out over the infinity pool. The barbecue is set up alongside the table and chairs, perfect for tucking into delicious dinners by candlelight during those hazy summer’s evenings.
If it gets a little cooler, head through the French doors from the terrace into the large open-plan living space where you’ll find a dining table, comfortable lounge and fully equipped kitchen.
During the day the bright area is flooded with natural light courtesy of the glass doors. By night the room is softly lit. Early riser? There’s a spot on the breakfast bar waiting for you.
Heading upstairs, the bedrooms are a perfect hybrid of comfort and elegance. The brightness of the ground floor makes way for a palette of calming neutral tones, perfect for relaxing before bed or easing into the sunlit mornings.
Each bedroom benefits from a smart en-suite, ample storage and silky quilted bedspreads. The master bedrooms (there are two) enjoy large balconies equipped with a table and chairs for your morning coffees, or stargazing once the sun goes down.
Downstairs you’ll find the spa area complete with jacuzzi, sauna and ambient lighting, as well as a few exercise machines should you feel the need to work off the inevitable holiday lifestyle. Villa Biserka is located 500m from Trogir, a World Heritage harbour town on the Adriatic coast.
Built within historic city walls and boasting Romanesque and Renaissance architecture as well as a beautiful seaside promenade, Trogir is an island linked by bridges to both Croatia’s mainland and the larger island of Čiovo – on the edge of which the villa is located.
Trogir comes to life in the summer, the seafront dominated by yachts, cafes and buzzy restaurants.
Make sure to spend a day wandering the maze of cobbled streets, visiting St Lawrence’s Cathedral and the Sacred Art Museum.
