Enjoying beautiful views of the Adriatic and easy access to local amenities, Villa Merska is situated close to Primošten, around 30 minutes’ drive from Šibenik. This peaceful property is suitable for up to eight guests and features a spacious terrace with swimming pool and much more.
Ideal for families or medium-sized groups, this 4-bedroom villa is modern and well equipped, and around 1.5km from the centre of Primošten. It enjoys a fantastic view of the sea and the local area, best enjoyed from the pool terrace. You have plenty of sun loungers with parasols, and a covered dining area with barbecue and summer kitchen. Another terrace area a few steps up provides an additional seating area with direct access inside the house.
Here you will find a modern, open-plan space which comprises the kitchen, dining and living areas. Large, plush sofas and comfy armchairs make it a relaxing place to lounge around, while the sleek kitchen comes equipped with everything from a microwave to a dishwasher and coffee machine.
Villa Merska’s four bedrooms are accompanied by three bathrooms, and offer lots of wardrobe space, in-room TVs and air-conditioning. Nearby Primošten is a pretty town with a relaxed vibe which offers a range of restaurants and bars. The vineyards around the town produce some of the best wines you may try around the Šibenik region, including the velvety red, Babić. Primošten is also conveniently placed for visits to Trogir, with its cool waterfront, and the spectacular Krka National Park, to the north of Šibenik. Here you can discover the seven Krka Waterfalls and the Krka Monastery, or simply enjoy beautiful walks along the river which shares its name.You will find Primošten on Croatia’s Dalmatian Coast, roughly midway between Trogir and Šibenik. The town has countless restaurants and taverns serving local cuisine, and a good smattering of charming beaches. At around an hour’s drive from Split, you can easily take in landmarks like Diocletian’s Palace and the Cathedral of Saint Domnius on a day trip.
The beautiful vineyards which are found around the area are responsible for some delectable Croatian wines. They are an impressive sight too, so much so that they are being put forward for UNESCO World Heritage status. You can explore them on foot from the Kremik Marina which lies at the bottom of several of the slopes. The waterfront quarter also offers some excellent dining opportunities, so be sure to order a glass of the local Babić with your meal.
Primošten is also know for its world-class clubbing at Aurora, which has seen many international DJs and acts take the stage since 1991. The nightlife is pretty good for all ages – you will find some upscale venues at Marina Frapa in Rogoznica, around 10 minutes’ drive down the coast.
Around 25km away, Šibenik is unmissable. The breathtaking Cathedral of St James is just one highlight of its medieval centre. Also a great family destination, there’s a large water-park and all sorts to do at Banj Beach, with a skate park, basketball court and open-air cinema among its diverse attractions.
